Dragon Ball: Xenoverse Hero and Trunks SH Figuarts

At New York Comic-Con 2016, we got a look at a bunch of upcoming Dragon Ball Z figures from Tamashii Nations. Included were new S.H. Figuarts based on the Dragon Ball: Xenoverse video game. Tamashii Nations has released some new photos of two of those figure. Included here are TP (aka Hero or Ace) and Trunks. Both of these figures are scheduled for release in April 2017. they will be priced at 4,860 Yen (about $46 YSD).

    So if I want an accurate/good shorter-haired Trunks in the Cell Saga get-up, looks like I'll have to buy this for the head pieces lol great

    agh, when I first saw Xeno Trunks I couldnt care less but as the time of the release approaches, and seeing him in this pictures...... I am very tempted to buy him ! Damn it !

    Im sorry to say this but " $!#@ this figures !!!!" release Tien and Yamcha first. Its understood their running a business but listen to the people that actually was their from day one. Without us they wouldn't be what they are today. Sometimes I think their shitting on us. Other than that, the figures they release are irresistible, you know. Thanks for the read guys.

    I like the Trunks but a random Create-A-Character confuses me a little.

    If anything, they should have just made a package of body parts and stuff and let you build your own DB character.

    I assume they want to put them out while the game and everything is hot. I still want to see that SSJ4 Goku make a return. But I'm a sucker for Trunks...

    That'd cost too much. Each custom character has a unique body and limbs. Only Saiyin and human have overlap. Plus then there's the gender differences and size variations among custom created characters too.

    So for your box of parts method, that'd end up being a multi-pack with extra heads for the hair styles and different faces. Even doing the build your own Saiyin/human, or Namekian, that's potentially two character packs worth of parts if not more. For Buu that's upwards of 4-6 characters worth of parts. That's priced outside the range of what these sell at right now. Though I do hope they make one of a default female Buu. Her designs are really neat in the game.

    This is the default story mode character. To celebrate the release of the sequel this is fine. It'll sell, and they'll cover the full character library of the fiction over time anyway.

    Besides, most people want the characters that actually do stuff in the games and series. Yamcha's mostly only good for cannon fodder. Heck, even Krillin does more than he does. Hope they get to some of the other characters and villains from the game too.
