Sculpt on this one looks well-done. How's the articulation? Does the bike come off the base and, if so, can the dirt effects be removed?
This figure looks amazing...I will be sure to pick this up day one. Seems like I've been waiting forever for this one.
She looks really nice. If someone is a fan of the character, I don't think they can go wrong with this.
So let's see, they say Dec so what they really mean is March.
Curious to see if she got the scale up treatment like the other recent Icons. This line is really starting to look good, looking forward to this set in particular
You can't tell just by looking at the picture? She appears to have Marvel Legends-level articulation, which is pretty impressive for a DC figure. They even seem to have finally gotten away from those awful H-hips, which is a relief.
It's a nice looking figure, but I wish they were releasing a version of her without the bike. She's still wearing that costume, so this figure will also work in a display of Rebirth figures.
I think this will end up being my default Batgirl figure. I love that the costume takes hints from the 1966 version.
It's a good time for Batgirl fans!

Mattel has a Burnside Batgirl in the works, too. Wonder how the two will compare. The Icons version looks to be older and taller than the one shown off by Mattel at SDCC. Either way, I'm interested in both.
That said, that figure doesn't look bad for Mattel. I'd wait until we see the final retail version, however.
She really looks great, I hope she isn't delayed again.
This looks like a terrific figure!

I really don't understand all of the hate that this new Batgirl costume continues to receive among DC fans.
Personally, I like the touch of realism, (since it looks like Babs is wearing some sort of motorcycle racing gear and Doc Martens) over the typical nondescript, generic "spandex" look.
I can understand the backlash that resulted after the creative team that replaced Gail Simone and Co. reverted Barbara to being a carefree twenty-something, disregarding her substantial history, but I can't comprehend how people were equating her new look to notoriously bad redesigns, like Paul Ryan's 90's era Sue Richards, or 90's era Guy Gardner during his cowboy boots phase, lol !
People hate the costume? Why? Hell, I thought people would love how reminiscent it is to that Adam West crap.
Oh yeah, all over various comic forums, people have been hating on this redesign since its inception.
But again, I think it's more of a case of misdirected anger than any sort of serious critique of Batgirl's new look.
