Kylo Ren Force FX Lightsaber Photo Shoot

The Kylo Ren Force FX Lightsaber dropped last year around the launch of The Force Awakens. It donned the Black Series label along with the Voice Changing Helmet denoting it’s a step above the average cosplay offerings from Hasbro aimed at kids. I had not traveled down the Force FX route until now as my focus is usually on figures of some sort. I did finally get a hold of the Kylo saber recently to match the helmet which I thought was awesome. We’ll take a look after the break, but if you’re looking for a get up great for Halloween, or a set of gifts for Christmas, these two will excite your kid regardless of how old they may be :).

I’m having too much stupid fun with this thing. I’ve been swinging this thing around the house for no reason all week. I am currently in an epic battle with my cats who apparently are immune to lightsaber blades because they just keep swatting at it like it’s not a laser, weird. The thing looks great in the dark, it’s bright and can be seen coming down the block. If you are going to a Halloween Party or out with your kids in costume, then the Kylo mask and this saber is perfect. Toss on some black garb or go full out, either way it’ll be a fun ride as Kylo. After that it comes with a base in case you want to put it on a shelf, or you can do what I did and pop a nail in the wall and let it hang, there are spots in the hilt that will catch the nail head easy. Bottom line – worth a pick up if you have the extra coin to play with!
