I'd prefer it if it was X-Factor or red armor Shatterstar.
Old Man Logan may be the least exciting Wolverine variant they could've offered.
Why they tease us with an MU Death's Head 1 then make ML Death's Head 2?

Who would've predicted Death's Head II?

Wonder what wave(s) he and Adam Warlock are a part of. And glad to see the Wolverine is no longer unknown, even if it's not the I've a number of people were hoping for (Laura).

    Also, SHOCKER! FINALLY!

Marvel really needs to go back to the original 2099 costume. New one is terrible. How about a X-23 Wolverine before Logan?

    This is my shop list:

    Old Man Logan
    Spider-UK
    Green Goblin
    Symbiote Suit Spider-Man
    Marvel Now Spider-Man 2099

Old Man Logan looks great. Re-reading his original series now.

So, is it safe to assume Death's Head will be the BAF for the second Guardians wave? Don't know much about the character, so not sure where else he'd fit in.

  10. EvilMonkeyPope's Avatar EvilMonkeyPope says

    10-05-2016, 06:25 PM

Tytus is the BAF for the next GOTG series, but Death's Head 2 will most likely be in it with Adam Warlock.
Logan & Shatterstar will likewise be in the next X-Men line not Spider-Man.
Will Sandman have an alternate unmushed face?

YES! Shocker! Just one more character left (Overdrive) until my Superior Foes of Spider-Man Sinister Six is complete!

That certainly made me do several double-takes when I saw that one! Really out of left field (I haven't seen him in a comic in years), but damn if that isn't a cool-looking figure.

I don't think that the Death's Head 2 will be a BAF at all. He looks about as big as the Colossus in the X-wave (looks like he might share some parts too) and Colossus will be sold individually.

The similarities/arm-gun-cannon-thing with the Titus figure made me think BAF, but you may be on to something.

I KNEW they would make a Shocker! Hasbro wouldn't let MU have something to hold over ML, after all.

Still, that Sandman looks sick, so I might pick it up for my MU display since he can change size...I need a better Sandman portrayal than the 2015 one.

Not sure about Death's head 2, though...Was that version ever giant in the comics? Because if so, I could have him in 2 places, one in my main MU display, other one in my Doctor Who 3.75 display. I was actually wanting a normal Death's head for that purpose, but if he can be at giant size, I can manage.

Death's Head I was giant I know, and then shrunk to normal human size(By the Doctor IIRC). II I don't think so more than mostly towering over most. But not like Giantman towering. Like maybe a 7-8 feet tall in comparison to most? So like roughly shorter than hulk, but taller than cap.

He's an android body though, so you can always fan internal create your own reasons for why for whatever reason. Death's Head II was one of those 90s over-gritty reinterpretations that was supposed to be the mind of the original in a newly built body. I'm sure he wouldn't look too out of place for a 4'' collection on the British side. Those stories always did get a bit wild. That's what I'm thinking about doing at least. Having this one be the MI-13 Deaths Head as their muscle member because of his size, while having Death's Head I to go with my transformers collection, and maybe occasionally Doctor Who 4'' stuff. The first one interacted with Doctor Who stuff, the second one was strictly Marvel heroes stuff.

Sandman - Expected, looks cool, but does he not have any regular arms? It's great that he has these sand arms, but some regular ones would be nice. I wonder if I could use some of those parts on the SDCC one.

Shocker - Need better pics, but so far he looks impressive. Hasbro is really milking those energy blasts though.

Shatterstar - AWESOME!!!! That is exactly the Shatterstar I was hoping for.

Logan - Unless he comes with an alternate younger head, this is the bomb of the wave for me.

Death's Head II - OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! I loved reading the first issue of DHII when he tore that lame looking original to pieces. This is a must buy.

Adam Work - o_O Not sure how I feel about him, honestly. Where's the cap and the staff?

Death's Head I showed up in an old Doctor Who comic. Sometime during the 5th Doctor , if I remember correctly.

7th Doctor, actually. Basically, Marvel wanted to keep the rights to the character after his Transformers appearances, so they had him meet the 7th Doctor, who shrunk him down to human size, DH1 had some adventures, met the Doctor again, and the Doctor left him on the roof of the Baxter building.

I mainly love the character's history above all else.

There is a disappointing lack of new female characters. I like Adam Warlock and Shatterstar though, and Kamala is just perfect.

Does Old Man Logan make the rumoured Wolverine wave more likely or less likely?
