Originally released a few years ago, the 1989 Batman 1/4 Scale Figure has been re-released by NECA. With Time Burton era versions of the Penguin and Catwoman being released, this will give fans another shot at getting a Batman to go along with them. This version of Batman features the likeness of Michael Keaton and has over 20 points of articulation. It includes utility belt, Batarang, grapple-gun, interchangeable hands, a hook, clear wire, two metal rods (for extending the cape) and a belt clip for the grapple-gun.
Batman is available now from NECA’s Ebay Store and NECA’s Amazon Store. The figure is priced at $99.99 plus shipping. Read on to see some of our own photos of the Keaton Batman with some of NECA’s 1/4 scale figures.

It's a decent figure, but I dont care for the cape and headsculpt. They both look off to me.
IMHO, it's not a bad sculpt of Michael Keaton. Unfortunately, he always looked bad in the cowl. Those pucker lips were an extreme turnoff from day one. Nevertheless, some collectors are quite loyal to the Keaton / Tim Burton film and will probably look forward to this.
Can't wait for them to release Penguin and Catwoman in 7"
Not sure how it is in the rest of the country, but the last 3 are still warming pegs like crazy at the 2 TRU's I go to. Between the 2 stores, there's 21 Batmen, 15 Supermen, and 11 Jokers.
If this is the case all over, I have doubts they'll even bother anymore going through the hassle of trying to get them out there.

Oh, I agree. I love them. I think they are little plastic masterpieces. I have half a mind to just buy up all of the remaining stock.
Too much OldMan, not enough BatMan
