Military toys are normally reserved for our sister site, Hisstank.com. However, we’re jumping in to help promote the upcoming Eagle Force Returns Kickstarter a bit. The figures are getting a lot of people psyched, and for good reason. The folks at Fresh Monkey Fiction and Remco Toys have teamed up to bring this 1980’s toy line to the modern era. The 4″ scale figures are jam packed with articulation and accessories. They’re working with a number of great people, including those at Boss Fight Studio (who know a thing or two about articulated 4″ scale figures) to ensure that fans get a quality series of figures. Here’s a bit more info from the Kickstarter:
THE CAMPAIGN:
Originally debuting in 1982, Eagle Force was a 3″ die-cast action figure military-themed toy line created and designed by Bill Baron and Paul Kirchner. Even though only the initial assortment made it to toy shelves but it was enough to introduce us to Captain Eagle and his team of top military specialists with codenames such as Sgt. Brown, Big Bro’, Harley, Turk and The Cat. They battled the evil forces of R.I.O.T. (Roving International Organization of Tyranny), lead by the evil General Mamba, assisted by Baron Von Chill, Beta Man the Arsonist, Nemesis the Saboteur, Savitar the Ninja, and an army of R.I.O.T. Shock Troopers.
Fresh Monkey Fiction and Remco Toys are teaming up to bring back Eagle Force. The long retired Captain Eagle is recruited back into active duty by his old teammate General Brown. Together they’re recruiting the next generation of Eagle Force team members to combat the re-emerging forces of R.I.O.T., a terrorist organization driven by revenge and desire for global domination.
These modern military action figures will bring back the sense of realism, action and fun that has been missing from toy shelves for the last few years.
THE DETAILS:
Each Eagle Force figure stands 4” tall (1:18 scale) and has 14 points of articulation. They are intended to blend in perfectly with other figures in the same scale that share similar themes and designs.
The line is meticulously sculpted and conceptualized by the combined efforts of Fresh Monkey Fiction, Remco Toys, Boss Fight Studios, Arlen Pelletier, Justin Bell and Sean Rourke.

We're just $3,011 away from the Grimm Reaper Trooper. When that stretch goal is hit, then they will also add an army builder 4-pack. It's a great looking figure.
The folks at Eagle Force Returns have released the Grimm Reaper troopers early. They are now part of the All in set and you can order an army 4-pack if you like.
Modern Zapper was just unlocked last night. Check out the kickstarter link in my sig and help us reach the next stretch goal. An Arctic Eagle Force Trooper.
If you love 3 3/4" figures, please help support the cause.
They have started showing designs for Series 2

They have also started a sub line called Heroes and Villains.

Is that really a "suicide bomber" figure??? Huh...wow, new day. New things...
Picked up a factory test sample from Designer Con of the R.I.O.T Commando. Not final, but the quality is quite good.
