Gecco has been releasing some stellar Metal Gear Solid statues over the past few years. Their newest release is one of the series newest, and probably its most controversial character; Quiet. In the game, Quiet requires he skin to be exposed, as she breathes through her skin due to receiving a parasite-treatment after getting severe injuries. Wearing clothes would essentially suffocate her. She also is unable to speak in English due to the parasites on her vocal chords, which will kill her if she does. It’s all very complicated and convoluted. Regardless, Quiet has definitely left her mark on the Metal Gear Solid fandom. Gecco has released a new statue based on the character. Here’s the details:
Quiet, the sniper unable to speak from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is recreated as 1/6 scale statue.
Her powerful feminine pose contrasts beautifully with the long and hard sniper rifle in hand.
All of the details have been faithfully captured from the smallest bolt on the rifle to the ripped sheer tights on her legs making this an incredibly realistic piece of art!
The head is interchangeable with the butterfly mark face.
The knife and handgun are detachable from the statue along with the sniper rifle which can be displayed with or without the suppressor.
All her beauty marks are faithfully painted as seen in the model sheet.
The display base features the motif of the Aabe Shifap Ruins where she tried to capture Snake.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – Quiet 1/6 Scale Statue by Gecco
Pros
- Excellent sculpt
- Strong paint work
- Lots of small weapons details
- Swap out face sculpts are both well done
- Solid construction
Cons
- Getting the right hand to grip the sniper rifle is a little tricky
Overall
Quiet comes packaged in a stylish window box. The back of the package features a large character portrait. The sides featured details on Quiet from the game, as well as details on those who contributed to the creation of the statue. The front of the box features a small window that allows you to see the statue inside. Once opened, there is a collectors card included, like all of Gecco’s statues. The statue itself sits firmly inside a plastic clamshell tray, which Quiet can be place back into for storage. The statue includes interchangeable head sculpts, a pistol and holster, a knife and sheath and a sniper rifle with a removable suppressor.
The statue requires a small bit of assembly. The right hand is separated from the statue, requiring you to connect it to the sniper rifle first. This is a little tricky, as both pieces are fairly solid. Take your time connecting the pieces, as some of the smaller details can be a little fragile. After that, simply attach the sheath, knife and place the handgun in the holster. There are three pegs to connect Quiet to the base, with no issues attaching her. All-in-all, it shouldn’t take much more than a minute to get the statue ready for display. Once assembled, Quiet stand just under 12″ tall.
Quiet is based on the likeness of model and actress Stefanie Joosten, who performed all of the motion capture for the character. The in-game character model and statue likenesses are pretty spot on. The statue, like the in-game character, is in a very revealing outfit. Gecco chose to handle the pose in a more tasteful manner, representing a game character rather where other companies may have chose to play up the sexual nature of Quiet. The sculpt is excellent all around, with a ton of fine details. The texture work on areas like the pantyhose, the weapons belt and the guns are all fantastic. The paint work is equally as strong, with very clean lines throughout, and no noticeable paint bleeding. The weapons have a metallic sheen to them, while the skin is handled more delicately, featuring softer gradations.
If you’re a fan of the game and character of Quiet, then this is a statue worth checking out. It lives up to the high standards Gecco has set with previous releases. It will also make a great companion piece to the upcoming Venom Snake Statue.
