Comicave Studio has been releasing 1/12 scale (roughly 6 inch) high end Iron Man figures for a bit now, and they’re about to drop another. The Silver Centurion armor from Iron Man 3, aka Mark XXXIII is shipping soon and we have an in hand look at it today. The fig features die cast, high end metallic paint, significant detailing and weathering where appropriate, tons of articulation, multiple hands and blast accessories and bright LED lights. It’s basically a checklist for a perfect 6 inch Iron Man figure. This compliments their recent Mark 43 which we also looked at. Head on in and check over 65 shots after the break!

Overall Thoughts:
Comicave continues to impress with the 1/12 Omni Class figures. The smaller scale figures in high-end presentation is a nice alternative to the Hot Toys and 1/6th offerings. More per shelf. As with the MK 43, these FEEL quality in your hand. Every joint, inch of paint, bright LED screams top of the line. They hold a pose and just look like a hot rod standing on your desk. Bottom line, if you can afford to build out Iron Man armors like this, do it. If not, grab at least one, it’s worth it.

Are these like mini hottoys
These look stunning! Are they good enough to replace the 6" Figma Mark VII?
Excellent! I'll have jump-in on these when my funds replenish. My bank account took a severe beating after my most recent pile-o-loot shipped, and I haven't even factored in the last two waves of Marvel Legends that just came out, my Mezco One:12 Punisher and Daredevil, Revoltech Spidey &/or Deadpool, Figma, NECA, plus whatever SH Figuarts has in the pipeline coming up. And now Comiccave is added to that spectacular list!
I don't know if anyone else agrees, but it really does feel like we're living in the golden age of Marvel action figures! Never before can I remember a time when there have been so many consistently incredible releases, with such a vast scope of choice and range by so many different, amazing companys. It's truly remarkable, how spoilt we collectors are at the moment, with new and improved figures of classic and current characters spilling out into stores, online and at various events and Comic-cons all over the globe. It seems like I can barely keep up, with something great dropping almost every month. It appears that in all my years of collecting, this year above any other will be the one where I may need to survive on canned-soup a few nights a week just to keep the figures flowin' yo!!
But that OK, it's lucky we're also living in the golden age of television, because I won't have enough money to go out again for the rest of the year! Bring on the Netflix and 99c soup!!
These are very, very nice, but cost almost as much as Hot Toys.
How well do these scale with Marvel Legends?
Is this shorter or about the same size as the newest ML Iron Man?

Wow they scale pretty well!
i'd love to have these.. but i'm already 17 armors deep with hot toys and have the diecast 6, 46, war machine mark 1, 3, disco, and sneaky preordered.. and i hope they get around to doing the rest of the house party armors and give us a diecast mark 7.
also.. hot toys have seriously been nailing their paint jobs lately.
but for their size.. these things are incredible.
i still wish hasbro would've given us all 35 armors.
