However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

DC Collectibles Solicitations for February 2017

That Justice League Rebirth 7-pack is a poor retool of older figures, is it not? The Batman figure doesn't even accurately reflect is current look.
Just a repaint.
Why Batman is built to slightly smaller scale is a mystery, but it makes him seem under-age. That said, his body proportions seem better than the others. Maybe somebody started trying to fix the stylistic errors and ran out of time...
Superman seems poorest of the bunch, which is a shame, as he is arguably the most important character in the franchise.
Wonder Woman and Aquaman look like the best of the bunch and Batman looks like he's got baby feet.
Batman's feet are foreshortened in the photograph, because they're pointing toward the camera. That's obvious, yes?

Or did I misinterpret an attempt at humor?
I'm guessing this is the actual JL set that we're getting, that the new-52 set was a place-holder kinda deal, and that the new-52 Superman and Batman figures will see release on their own or in a smaller set.
That said, the image for this set very much looks like a placeholder itself. The trio all look photoshopped to me. Especially the belts on Superman and Batman.
Hopefully there will be more differences once we see the finalized figures. Most especially to batman's colors. His cowl, gauntlets, boots, and the outside of his cape should be black, while the inside of his cape should be purple.
I kinda wish they were doing a trinity set, as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are the only ones I would really want.
Looks cool, but I will be sticking with the "JLA" 7 Pack.
For anyone who cares, DC All Access released a video announcing many new DC Collectibles figures. The video must have been accidentally uploaded because it's no longer listed, but they showed Batman and Knightmare Batman from BvS and three characters from Suicide Squad -Katana, Captain Boomerang, and a third I don't remember. They also showed a Superman the Animated Series two pack with Superman and Lois Lane! There were also a bunch of tv figures shown and statues, but those were the figs I remembered seeing.
I want that Batman, but not enough to spend $85 for him unless they give us a true Rebirth Hal Jordan.
The Rebirth Batman costume is the best costume he has had in years.
Sorry guys. I'm just going to go off on a bit of a frustrated rant, here.
I love DC Collectibles TV based figures, and have been eagerly awaiting the Black Canary and Reverse Flash figures from "Arrow" and "The Flash", respectively.
However, THOSE figures were due out in February of 2016...and have been rescheduled several times. I was finally looking forward to them coming out next week, when diamond released their most recent shipping update...the figures are NOW rescheduled for release on 08/31/16...more than 6 months later than their originally solicited release date.
And now, more than 6 months behind on their previous batch of figures, they decide to announce 8 more figures based on Flash, Arrow, Legends, and Supergirl? What a joke. The batch in this article, solicited for February of 2017, will be lucky to be released in 2017 at all. As for the rest, slated for May of 2017? I doubt those will ever see release.
I love DC's TV properties, and seriously want the Reverse Flash, Zoom, Black Canary, Supergirl, and Martian Manhunter figures, among others. But they seriously need to get on the ball regarding releases that are already a half year behind schedule before committing to more.

I wonder if this current rough patch signals another big change for the company? Or they're just getting sloppy/having internal difficulty of some kind.
It could be the whole Rebirth and failure of BvsS has forced them to change their thought processes.
They never get Batman and Superman right with these figures; give them multi-purpose soft goods capes for God's sakes!
