It looks good. Not great, but good. I'm super excited for this line, so I'll be getting Rick regardless, but are his shoulders too thin? Neck too long? Something's off. He has no chest, maybe? Hmm. I'll probably buy 2 or 3, in any case.
Where are these alleged multiple POA?? McToys is just going backwards to their Movie Maniacs days of giving you a preposed statue with a couple movable parts.
Are they abandoning the 5" line now?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an updated Savage Dragon assortment and Saga.

i'm feeling the sculpts but i don't want really good looking 7" statues. I guess my walking dead days are done..I liked the 5" line.
Pigeon Toed Rick is the only way I would display him, thank god they didn't take out thigh swivel!!
Who is gonna buy this junk? I'm sure sales of the 5 inch line wasn't where it needed to be to continue, but who is buying 7" plastic statues? Every one of TWD Statues McFarlane has made look the exact same. I think they released Michonne and Rick six different ways (Blood Splatter, B&W, added necklace...) I'm willing to bet the color tops will be the same way. I bet future waves will be the same main characters and they will likely never complete the main cast...
I just don't get how NECA can produce figures in the exact same scale that have tons of articulation yet McFarlane just can't seem to do it.
I mean, it looks good, but I don't have a use for a 7-inch scale statue in a vanilla position. Maybe if he was doing something more dynamic.

I thought this was just a prototype due to the lack of articulation points, but seriously, this is what they're producing in this day and age? I didn't even understand it back when NECA made figures with three points of articulation. If you're going to call it an action figure, at the VERY LEAST, give me five points. That's the bare minimum.
I'd have to see a potential Maggie before I bite.
Five points isn't my preferred amount with modern figures, but it's the bare minimum. Less than that, and I look at it and think "This is an ACTION figure?". I mean, if it's going to have a small amount of articulation, I just feel like it should at least have the same articulation scheme as a Kenner figure, but I guess they think it makes the hips/pelvis look ugly.
With articulation, I look at it the same way as die cast cars. Maybe I'm not going to be rolling it along the kitchen floor like a 3 year old, but I'd still feel odd owning a die cast car with immobile wheels.
