Tamashii Nations has posted up official photos and some info for their upcoming S.H. Monsterarts Godzilla Resurgence – Shin Godzilla Figure. Godzilla Resurgence is the newest in the long line of Godzilla films from Toho. It sees the return of the King of Monsters with an all new creature design. Toho is treating the film as a complete reboot of the Japanese Godzilla franchise. It will have no connection to previous Godzilla movies. The film is set to debut in Japan on July 29, 2016.
The Shin Godzilla figure measures about 40CM (15.75 inches) from head-to-tail and will stand at 18CM (7″) tall. It features the full range of articulation that fans have come to expect from the S.H. Monsterarts line. It is due for release this November. It will be priced at 12,960 Yen (about $126 USD). No word on the official pre-order dates at this time.

Yessssss I've been waiting for this. I need it.
I'm going to need to see the movie before I know if this is going to be worth the money.
For all the crap that Warner Brothers and Gareth Edwards took from Japanese fans and Godzilla loyalists for creating what they referred to as "Pigzilla", this literally looks like a pile of rubber dog poop grew some limbs and was tossed in a microwave. Even if the film somehow turns out to be amazing (and the trailers don't look promising,) this is easily the worst looking version of the King of Monsters that I have ever seen.
Quick observations:
Is that supposed to be a rattle in his tail?
What happened to his mug?
Is he part giraffe now?
Stegosaurus plates on his back and funky ridged tortoise-chest-plate in the front?
What's going on with the arms and forearms?...he's got tiny hands like Trump...*snicker* couldn't resist...
Will he be seeing a plastic surgeon about the sloughing/sagging skin post liposuction?
What's up with the scary space-clown feet?
EDIT:
Just watched the trailer and thank goodness Godzilla's upcoming movie incarnation looks better than this toy. I'm surprised at this fig given that I'm normally impressed by Monsterarts sculpts...I imagine that some of the design changes are presenting a challenge, but there's a noticeable departure between the film presentation and this figure.
Supposedly this is only Godzilla's first form, which will be great, but if so, I'm not going to want a figure of his starting form, but of his main form. Hence why I need to see the movie.
Of course, there are also rumors circulating that Godzilla is going to be all CGI in the new movie, which also sucks.

This new design is pretty fugly.
i might get this,, it just looks so funky.
This new design is pretty fugly.
I got the name "Pigzilla" from a buddy of mine who lives in Japan...he said that the students at the school he was teaching, as well as the local media critics, we're referring to the American design as "Pigzilla" due to it being a somewhat obese design, as well as the stubbiness the snout. Pretty interesting that he was modelled after a bear. I never knew that.
I like the really long tail too. Is that tail in the 'in hand' pic, like bitten off or something? It looks removable from one pic to the next idk
I find it funny from those who say the 2014 Godzilla was fat but will then defend the thunder thighs of the 90s. Now THAT was fat.
Interesting design.
From the design, the film looks like it might a continuation from previous parts of the franchise. That tail almost looks like it was broken off at the tip. Like this version of Godzilla is dying and the radiation is bursting out of him. Kind of similar to a previous motif they started to cover and may explain a character metamorphosis in the film itself.
That doesn't seem too far fetched that they'd cover that story point again with new technologies, better story, and different film techniques. That's kind of what they did with Final Wars anyway too(a modern remake of a previous Godzilla film, this time with more monsters and altered story points).
Get it? Because all of his bones were as big around as large trees.
Seriously though did he celebrate each triumph over another monster by eating an ice-cream factory or two?
This design is Ugly. I'm gonna end up getting it.
It looks like some in between version of the monster in Godzilla 2000.
So where are the trailers I see the one with the running and no Godzilla and the one with Godzilla I see there is supposed to be a 3rd but if's the same one.
Hmmm, not sure about this. Will wait to see what the movie is like.

Basically a good looking figure of my least favorite Godzilla design. Something about the design just doesn't gel for me.
I like that they're turning him into a horrifying monster again. I've never been a big fan of "Godzilla the hero" as they portrayed him in a lot of the 60's and 70's films. This figure looks amazing, though like others I'm going to wait on the film before I commit to buying this guy.
Looks like a roided up Cookie Monster on bath salts.
Is that a rattle in his tail ?
If it turns out to be a rattle, can arrangements be made to get one of these figs for free? Sort of a gentleman's bet?
