NECA is producing an extremely limited run for a 1/4 Scale Concept “Albino” Big chap Alien. The 7″ scale version was part of Alien Series 7. This will be limited to just a single production run. Once it’s sold out, that’s it.
Due to popular demand, we’re bringing our first concept figure from Alien to the quarter-scale format!
In the iconic 1979 horror movie, the skin of the Xenomorph was meant to be almost see-through. H.R. Giger originally had the suit cast in a translucent flesh-tone but, in one of the many technical hurdles that had to be overcome to bring his creature to life on screen, repeated difficulties with the material forced the change to the coloring seen in the movie.
This incredible action figure stands over 22” tall, and has a hinged jaw that opens, revealing an inner mouth that extends for realistic movie action. It has 25 points of articulation, including double knee joints and a bendable tail, and extra attention has been paid to all the eerie details that made Giger’s designs for Alien so mesmerizing.
The figure, which will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con, is scheduled for release this October.

Neat. So maybe a 1/4 scale Aliens concept hive worker with tongue thing isn't totally out of the park either then.
Dunno. This seems to be based on strong sales of the 7" version combined with needing no new parts. Straight repaint. I'd like to grab it. I'm all for expanding the xenos beyond dark colors.
Wow this was unexpected. I hit the preorder button on BBTS as soon as I found out! Got my fingers crossed for the Aliens albino concept fig too. Really running out of space with all the 1/4 stuff coming out, probably going to have to move soon. lol.
