Comicave Studios Iron Man Mark 42 with Couch

Posted on June 11, 2016 at 11:08 am by Joe Moore under Marvel Toy News, San Diego Comic Con

Last month, we shared photos of the Comicave Studios Iron Man 3 – Iron Man Mark 42 Armor 1/12 Scale Figure. It is constructed out of 75% diecast metal, will have over 20 points of articulation, will stand about 6″ tall and have LED light up features in the chest and eyes. The Mark 42 Armor will include multiple interchangeable pieces, such as hands and thruster effects pieces. It’s priced at $100. Now they are prepping a fun set, with a nod to the Iron Man 3 film. They have revealed the Comicave Studios Iron Man 3 – Iron Man Mark 42 Armor 1/12 Scale Figure with a 1/12 Scale Couch. It will include all of the accessories of the standard release. It will be available, for the first time, at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. No pricing or post convention release info has been released at this time. We’ll update with more info as it becomes available.

That figure looks awesome! I really didn't like the look of the mk.43 by comicave that I saw. But it coulda just been because every joint was extended in the picture I saw of it. This looks aces comparatively

This one looks to be a genuine upholstered couch, with fuzzy fabric and fiber padding, unlike the molded plastic version from Figuarts.

Comicave "Omni Class" figures strike me as potentially "best in class." (See more images on their website). If they do Iron Man MK2, 3 or 7, I might be inclined to snag them over their upcoming Figuarts counterparts.
