A glow-in-the-dark Tad Ghostal? The pot sweetens with each new PR piece!
I've never really been a big fan of the whole GITD gimmick but for some reason i love the idea of it on this figure this sounds awesome
I've never felt the need for a pricey Space Ghost figure until recently. These Space Ghost figures are totes unexpected, so I wonder what else they're brewing.
... Thaddeus Bach!!!
But seriously, have you seen this?

I own it... Salomon!

I know it's not terribly original, but after that book, I can't see Space Ghost any other way. DC, do an ongoing, and you'll finally get me to buy a DC book!

We all win. Space Ghost continues to be a viable property fifty years later.
I agree about DC’s mini-series, it was cool. Of course, Olivetti’s painted art helped a great deal. They did an impressive job at capturing the fact that Space Ghost was pretty cold-hearted when it came to his enemies, even blood thirsty to some degree. There were times, in those initial toons, when Space Ghost would destroy/kill an enemy in the pursuit of ‘justice.’ Some people were thrown off by the violence in DC’s mini-series, but that may be because they were unaware of the brutality of Space Ghost in those 60’s toons.
The toons weren’t gory, but Space Ghost would thoroughly obliterate the enemy on numerous occasions. The most hilarious parts were the cryptic anecdotes he sometimes offered to his child wards upon the destruction of a foe. Paraphrasing one such ‘teaching moment,’ Space Ghost destroys the entire planet hosting the lair of an enemy and says, in reflection, something along the lines of, “In the end kids, his evil ultimately destroyed him.” No, Space Ghost, YOU destroyed him when you redirected his missile back at his base which in turn blew-up the whole planet!...and now you are rationalizing, to children, your execution of a villain!
I luv, Space Ghost! A killer with enough heart to adopt two orphaned children and teach them the ways of justifiable murder! lol (EDIT: and kind enough to acquire a monkey for them to play with in the slow moments between bloody battles - what a guy!)
