Marvel Legends 6-Inch Scale Wolverine and Juggernaut Build-A-Figure

Posted on May 27, 2016 at 12:44 pm by Joe Moore under Marvel Toy News

The final figure in X-Men Marvel Legends 6″ Scale wave has been revealed, as has the Build-A-Figure! Hasbro Pulse shared a couple of photos of Wolverine in and out of packaging. Wolverine will be in his classic brown suit and will include swappable clawed and retracted claw hands. Even bigger news is that the Wolverine packaging reveals the identity of the Build-A-Figure…Juggernaut!

Marvel Legends fans got their first sneak peek at the upcoming X-Men Marvel Legends 6-Inch assortment last October at New York Comic Con 2015 with the reveal of Rogue. Then in February at New York Toy Fair 2016, six new mutant figures were unveiled: Deadpool, Cable, Jean Grey, Iceman, Havok and Kitty Pryde (complete with Lockheed!).

The Hasbro Pulse has the exclusive reveal of the eighth and final figure in this year’s X-Men Marvel Legends 6-Inch assortment: Wolverine!

As one of the most popular and iconic X-Men, Wolverine gets a new body sculpt and dons the look of his trademark brown and tan costume. After premiering back in Uncanny X-Men #139 (1980), the brown and tan suit outfitted Wolverine until 1991 and was his longest continuous costume.

Speaking of powerful and iconic brown-costumed characters from the pages of the X-Men, fans will without a doubt recognize the Build A Figure in this assortment. Check back in the next few days for the complete reveal of this unstoppable villain!

We saw the reminaing figures from the wave at Toy Fair 2016. We’ve re-attached the photos here to jog your memory. Read on to see the images.

    Neat-O!!
So, they're not "someplace"-exclusive this time, right?!? Cause I'm still crying for the Jubilee wave...

I'm a bit disappointed its not X-23 Wolverine, but I don't actually have a ML Wolverine and this one looks fantastic so, awesome.

    yay hasbro ,
Ooo a classic version , nice , wonder if that helmet can be switched with an alternate head the one that comes with the onslaught piece would be nice
so they up'd their game now by giving swap-able hands which is a nice touch

Should be a standard retail release for the X-Men ML wave.

Praying the Deadpool and Cable figures don't go the way of the Civil War Black Panther and become gold to the scalpers.

This wave looks fantastic and makes me all the more interested in the X-Men as a whole (I'm sorry, I didn't grow up with the love for the X-Men as most, but am beginning to appreciate it more now).

Yeah but the last 2 sets of X-Men legends have been some type of exclusive, granted the Wolverine legends wave wasn't TRU based, but you could have only got that online or at your LCS...let's hope this one has a bigger distribution.

I think half this wave will be like that. Partly b/c of people like me, I haven't bought ML in years, and I think I might get this whole wave.

Thanks for the hope, man lol. Can I get a normal $20 comic book figure that isn't silly just this one time? I'm otherwise done with collecting. Besides the only reason I think this wave will do better is Deadpool has made tons of cash and is proven, while Black Panther was a rare figure to begin with. LET ME KEEP MY DREAMS ALIVE.

Wow I have never bought a 6 inch Legends figure and this might be my ticket in. That Iceman is REALLY tempting and the Wolverine costume is the one I grew up with. The Juggernaut figure will be awesome. I'm graduating this summer so maybe I can get these.

Something i forgot to mention looking at the new wolverine figure , you can see its more filling around his erm spiked ears rather than something flimsy that might require a hair dryer to straighten out

Another awesome wave of ML figures! The Wolverine and Deadpool are easily my favorites. My only concern is yes, scalpers will be all over Deadpool. That will most likely be hard to get. I am concerned about the claws on Wolverine. In the past, Marvel Legends series have botched Wolverine claws. Bent up, wavy, broken, you name it. I hope this one will finally have the claws done right.

I think most of these figures will be scalper bait, except Wolverine of course...

Easy way to avoid scalpers...just buy the case and sell off what you don't want. Yeah, it sucks buying the whole thing, but you don't get stuck in scalper hell spending 3 times what it retails for. I've done this now with the last four waves of Legends, and believe me, it saves a lot of stress. The thrill of "the hunt" has become greatly overrated for me, and the amount of headaches you spare yourself of driving, cost of gas, and the disappointment of seeing only Allfather figures on the shelf is well worth spending the extra scratch.

Really excited for this wave, especially since we are getting a brown Wolverine. I missed out on the original ToyBiz one back in the day, and was never a huge fan of that sculpt anyways.

I'll be sad if I see them in store I probably will only have cash for one at a time.

Some one needs to find out if those old toybiz iceman hands will be able to clip over his hands.

Huh... I have completely forgot about those, but they look nice, especially Deadpool. Living in a country that gets these way after the US of A does, I'll pre-order the ones I like, and then decide upon the video reviews and in-hand pictures if they look good enough for me to buy them.
