Updated Details and Pricing For Alien Life Size Facehugger

Last week, we shared news of NECA releasing a stand alone Alien Facehugger Foam Replica. We had few details at the time. However, NECA has posted up some new images and more info.

Due to popular demand, we’re making the actual-size facehugger included in our Life Size Xenomorph Egg Replica available on its own!

As seen in the 1986 horror classic Aliens, this full-sized replica measures nearly 3 and 1/2 feet long and has a bendable tail, so you can pose it anywhere… waiting to drop on unsuspecting prey from above, even attached to your face. The Life Size Facehugger is made of detailed, hand-painted foam — perfect for costuming or decoration!

*Packaging is a 4 Color Hang Tag, placed in a brown cardboard box with one color printing

The Facehugger will have an MSRP of $69.99. Toyark sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has it even cheaper, at $64.99. It ships out in September. Read on for some new images.

    I had a similar idea myself. Though I will likely only purchase one, it would be a cool idea to buy a dozen and make a really cool egg infested breeding ground in my room! Though I've always wondered if the eggs in the films actually illuminated a natural glow or if it was a result of another source of light shining onto it like a flashlight or something?

    I might guess somewhere possibly around $200, above $100 for sure I think. I don't remember how much their Gears of War prop replica guns were but that might be a solid reference for a price estimate since those were kinda big n' chunky.
