Posted on April 6, 2016 at 8:05 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

The upcoming Thundercats 6″ Scale Pumyra figure recently underwent some changes based on fan feedback. They updated the head sculpt with changes to the face, neck, expression and more. MattyCollector has shared a new photo, showing updated progress on the new head sculpt. The images give us our first look at the fully painted new head sculpt.

The Thundercats Pumyra Figure ships out in November. We’ll update as more information becomes available. See the new images after the jump.

other than the eyebrows, i liked the older version and wouldn't have had a problem buying it. this version looks good too though. so win/win i guess..

also, maybe its just me but the legs on the new version look a bit shorter and stubbier than the previous version...?

It actually doesn't look that different to me. The face has a different expreassion, and the paint is different, but otherwise it looks the same. But better, yes.

I liked the slightly darker paint apps (more toys colors) , but the more toon accurate colors don't bother me. I will have to sub because I want the mummy Mum-Ra exclusive. I hope these do well and we get a good assortment of Characters. I also like that these are going to be only Bi-Monthly releases. I want the main cast but I already see them doing a Robear 3 pack for SDCC next year. I also really hope we get the latter cats from the Movie.

Love it! Much better paint on the face. I'll be subbing for sure. Really wish DR would go away though.

Am I the only one that thinks his trunks in the crotch should be wider? I feel like I can see too much up in the junk region. Are MOTUC that way?

The hair is also far more accurate to the cartoon than what it was.

Ha, I can't help but see that now, you almost expect a rogue testicle to pop out!

I know its early to ask, but Ill ask anyway...

If there is going to be a runup to the line with vehicles and base play sets this line can actually mean something again.

I'll just keep my Bandai Thundercats.

They deleted the news post on MattyCollector.com. All info was pulled from their news story.
