Batman: Arkham Origins introduced fans the Black Mask from the Arkham game universe. Roman Sionis is an extremely powerful mob boss in Gotham City. He leads a group known as the False Facers. While in the comics, the mask is a permanent part of his face, in the game he wears it as a symbol that he uses to strike fear and terror. This also allows him to run his “legitimate” businesses without the general public knowing that he is the Black Mask. Unfortunately for him, he draws the ire of The Joker, who kidnaps and tortures him, all while assuming the persona of the Black Mask to draw out and kill Batman.
TriForce has taken some of the astounding game designs for Black Mask and crafted this new collectible set. The Black Mask Arsenal includes a replica of the Black Mask itself, a pair of Knuckle Dusters and a base, which features an assortment of False Facer masks. This replica set is available now from TriForce, with a limited time price of just $200, which is half off the regular price!

Overall
This is the first collectible from TriForce I’ve ever handled. It’s an impressive sight to behold, especially the first time you see the package. The Black Mask Arsenal comes in a massive box. The outer packaging is a slip cover, featuring Arkham Origins themed artwork, and a detailed history of the piece. When you remove the slip cover, you will find a gift wrapped Janus Cosmetics package. Janus Cosmetics is one of the companies owned by Roman Sionis. Inside the box itself is a large styrofoam protective tray for the replica. The set comes in three pieces; the mask, the base and the Knuckle Dusters. The mask and base attach together easily, and the Knuckle Dusters sit loose on the side or, if you separate the mask and base, the Knuckle dusters can sit atop the base.
The replica is cast in polystone and weighs in at 15 lbs. Fully assembled, it stands over 18″ tall from base to the top of the mask. The Knuckle Dusters are life size, and can fit in your hand. That was cast in a lighter plastic or resin (hard to tell), so don’t think of using it as a weapon. Inside the mask and the base are two cylindrical pieces with spikes on the interior. these are removable, though I am not entirely sure of their purpose. They look pretty cool, and the ones in the base can be used to prop up the Knuckle dusters.
The sculpting all around is wonderful. The base features an intricate series of different masks. Each one crafted to resemble on of the masks worn by the Black Mask crew; the False Facers. The amount of detail and variety in each one is incredible. They are spread around the circular base, which resembles a classical bust display base. The mask itself is beautifully creepy. It is very smooth, with a nice reflective shine to it, almost appearing as if it’s made from a dark metal. The sculpting is very clean, with sharp lines and game accurate details. The mass sit atop its own pedestal, which connects to the included base. The whole thing is painted in washes of dark blue-ish grays and blacks. Up close, it has a solid, dark marble look to it.
The sculpting on the Knuckle Dusters is quite life-like, so much so that I was shocked by how light these turned out to be. They have a nice texture to them, with a gold finish. The top features small, diamond shaped silver spikes. It is also splashed with a ton of blood red paint. The Knuckle Dusters can fit in my hand as well, though smaller hands may have a hard time gripping it.
This is an absolutely beautiful display piece. It’s a wonderful representation of the Black Mask from Arkham Origins. The size and weight may keep casual fans away, but the lower price should definitely be enticing. Check out a few key shots below, wit hthe full gallery after that.
