Next up in our Star Wars Black Series TFA Wave 5 galleries is the Flametrooper. The Flametrooper was a figure many have been looking forward to since he was first seen in the trailers, rocking unique gear and introducing a new “type” of trooper to the average fan via the mainline canon. Let’s take a look at his beefy armor with over 20 shots and some quick thoughts after the break courtesy of Dorkside Toys!

Overall
The Flametrooper came out good, on par with the rest of the troopers in the TFA Black Series line so far. The armor is a bit pudgy, in the movie as well, I hadn’t noticed it until having the figure in hand. The hose leading from the backpack to the rifle actually connects and stays in place well, I was having flashbacks to G.I. Joe hoses but this is well done. Range and posing is also on par with Black Series, slightly limited due to armor, but that’s the design. Some washing is present on the helmet to fill in the lines, not terribly great. Could be a disaster so check those windows before picking one up if possible. Bottom line, if you want one of each or you’re troop building, good to go.
