The newest Batman Classic DC Comics Statue from Tweeterhead is Harvey Dent, aka Two Face. The iconic Batman villain, a former friend and ally of the Caped Crusader, was horribly disfigured when acid was thrown in his face during a trial. Since then, Two Face became with the duality of moral decisions, allowing his infamous coin flip to decide the fate of those who oppose him. The character was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger and first appeared in Detective Comics #66 (August, 1942).
This new Two Face Maquette, which you can still pre-order by Clicking Here, is based on his appearance in those classic comic issues. Tweeterhead sent along an early sample of the statue, and we have a detailed first look gallery and review. Read on to check out over 35 high resolution images of the maquette.

Overall
This is an early production sample that Tweeterhead was kind enough to let us review. While not included in our gallery, the statue will come packaged in a large scale box and will include a Classic Comic Cover Numbered Certificate and a Hand Numbered Backstamp. The Two Face Maquette is a 1/6 scale statue. Two Face stands at 13.5″ tall, and comes with a stylized rooftop base. The maquette comes in two pieces, with a peg in one of Two Face’s feet to mount to the base. It’s about as easy as assembly gets. Once put together, it’s ready to be displayed. The first thing you’ll notice is that this is a very solid, and fairly heavy, piece. None of the limbs, hands or edges felt brittle, so it can be moved around a bit without fear of breakage. The connection peg holds the Two Face in quite well and there’s no wobbling or movement while mounted on the base.
The maquette is beautifully sculpted by artist Michael Cusanelli. It has a very authentic, classic comic look to it, while also showcasing some wonderful fine details. The split face is a wonderful use of contrasting textures, as the Harvey Dent half features a smooth, handsome classic comic mobster appearance. The deformed half of the face has wonderful small details, such as bumps and boils. Even the eyes are handled in wildly different ways. The dual suit also features some nice touches, such as the checkered pattern lines being sculpted into the suit, instead of simply being painted on. The paint used here is handled equally well. The liens are clean, with no noticeable paint bleed. The skin areas, such as the hands and face, feature subtle tonal shifts, while the green of the deformed half is extremely saturated, using multiple washes to bring out the details and allowing it to really pop. Th hair on each site also features multiple color overlays, allowing for a very comic coloring appearance. There are other areas where a darker wash is used, such as the purple half of the suit and the statue base.
Two Face is an excellent statue and a great addition for Batman statue collectors. The great sculpting combined with clean, bright paints, makes for a beautiful display piece. This is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide with some still available. It’s priced at $234.99.
