Bandai’s Movie Realization line is an alternate take on Star Wars characters where they are re imagined as Feudal Japan warriors. So far we have 2 Darth Vaders, today’s Boba Fett, a Stormtrooper, and there are more on the way. It’s a unique take that isn’t for everyone but you can’t deny that the figures are superbly done for what they are. Absolutely stunning figure. I initially skipped this line when it dropped last year due to it being an alt verse line, there was so much Star Wars stuff I had to make a cut. Fast forward to this year and I had some breathing room and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. As a figure it’s awesome – big, great articulation, tons of accessories, fantastic sculpt and paint. Really can’t get much better. Feels good in the hand. And, even though this is an alt-verse interpretation that otherwise makes no sense – it’s friggin cool. Ronin is a Japanese term for a Samurai with no lord or master – perfect for Boba Fett. Bottom line, grab, grab, grab.
