Cinemachines Terminator Aerial Hunter Killer Preview - The Toyark - News

Loving those Hunter-Killers, always wanted a model of them. The Terminator Salvation version that Playmates made didn't quite cut it.
Nice! I want both the aerial and tank HKs on my desk.

NECA Terminator Cinemachines Aerial Hunter Killer

I thought this line was a dumb idea when it was first announced. Now I'm wondering where I can fit my upcoming Skynet ground and arial HK army.
Damn you, NECA. Damn you to hell.
BTW, I hope to-scale T-800s are in the cards, as those would go awesomely for dio possibilities.
Wave 1 of the Aliens vehicles are available for preorder at toysrus.com for $21.99 each with free shipping.

That model looks so confused, especially looking at the Derelict. Hahah.
Out of this wave, the Space Jockey is tempting, but Prometheus may have ruined it for me. The "what the hell is that thing?" aspect was like 50% of the appeal.
NECA Cinemachines Available On Their Ebay Store - The Toyark - News
I received my UD-4L dropship a few days ago and wanted to share some thoughts.
- NECA had astonishingly fast shipping on this via their eBay store. As soon as I saw the article here, I went ahead and ordered one. I had it in hand two days later - almost a week before its expected arrival date.
- I've wanted to own a reasonably-priced dropship for I don't know how many years now. I can check this box off.
- My main gripe is that the landing gear does not retract in any way. It's firmly fixed into place, and cannot be removed without causing damage (as far as I can tell). I'm a bit disappointed by this. I get that it's a cost-cutting measure, but the "completely folded up" look is perhaps more iconic than the "all weapons deployed for landing" look.
- The APC launching gimmick is pretty neat. Press the right landing lamp, the spring-loaded ramp drops, and the APC comes rolling right out. Oddly enough, I didn't see any instruction on how to do this. Maybe I just missed it?
- My second gripe is that the turret on the APC doesn't elevate. It's in a fixed "down" position so that it can fit into the APC. I don't see any way for this to move up, which is kind of a shame. I'd have even settled for a pre-drilled hole in which you remove the turret from its "down" position and stick it in an "up" position. Maybe I can customize this...
All things aside, this is a pretty good little toy for the price. The diecast content is quite high. I am definitely interested in some of the other offerings from this line.

Shot wave 1 last night. Still over 100 photo still to process but figured I'd share a few teaser pics:
