The classic fighting game ‘Virtua Fighter’ is joining the figma series!
From ‘Virtua Fighter’, the world’s first 3D fighting game released back in 1993, comes a figma of Sarah Bryant! The figma is designed to recreate the look of Sarah from the original Virtual Fighter game! You can pose her in various classic attacks including her ‘Somersault Kick’. Keep this figma by your side and remember the good old days at the arcade!
- Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
- A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
- She comes with both a standard expression as well as a shouting expression for her victory pose.
- A large variety of interchangeable hand parts are included to recreate various moves.
- An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
- A 2P Color version is planned to be announced at a later date.

First Look at Figma Virtua Fighter Figures

That's just weird.
Hate to be that guy, but these were actually revealed at Wonderfest back in July. https://www.reddit.com/r/ActionFigur...rototypes_are/

Sorry Joe
Bout damn time we got some more Virtua Fighter love. Yu Suzuki's franchise is definitely one of the best, and most under appreciated out there. A little surprised they would go with original polygon look, but it is a creative take, I'll admit. If they jumped in and put out some figs with their looks from 5R, I'd definitely be in, and probably for the long haul as I used to play about half the cast from that game...lol.
Sorry Joe
Sorry Joe
I don't know if I'll ever buy these but I like them a lot. It's great how they are 100% accurate to the source material.
I know that there will probably never be more than these two, but I sure do hope we get a Wolf Hawkfield, Jeffery McWild and Jacky Bryant at some point. I've always loved playing grapplers in VF, and Jacky has been a fave of mine since the beginning...
I'd buy a full line. Gimme some Shun Di please. With swappable drunk head.
I was always more of a Tekken guy myself. My local arcade always had the Tekken machine and no Virtua Fighter. If they did Tekken 1/2 in this style, I'd be hard pressed to resist.
Lmao the classic pointy tits. Love the polygonal look and if Figma wasn't so over expensive in my country I would get them (if they ever get to my country first).
Make a classic Tomb Raider one and I forget the price.

These look great. Akira's hands look almost comically large though.
Never cared about Virtua Fighter myself, but these are pretty awesome!
I'd LOVE a similar line from Resident Evil and RE2, but Capcom never seems to give the license to companies that care.
These are really awesome. A shame I'm not a fan of these characters. If they announce a Wolf or Jacky, I would be all in though, especially considering they were in game rivals to Sarah and Akira.
Sega and Figma, make it happen! My wallet is ready for you!

These are in that weird game related figure realm that I won't be able to resist.
These are so friggin strange and provide so much bad nostalgia lol.
I would love to see a series of Tekken 2 figures done like this.
Preorders just went up! Akira Sarah

Amiami has a bunch of pics, including this one showing off the 2P costumes, the descriptions say they will be available later.
I'm glad these are reasonably priced, little over $30 before shipping. At that rate I might pick up the 2P versions too.
I love the concept of these figs, very unique. Now, I' m not a fan of this game (Street Fighter Forever!!), but a Lara Croft figure done in this style would be an instant purchase.
In the details it says
I want that arcade cabinet.
Like far too many others, my love of the VF series was overshadowed by my interest in Tekken and Dead or Alive, but I logged countless hours practicing Wolf's elaborate throws.
I'm still undecided about whether I'll be picking these up, but either way, I love it when cult-favorite and classic gaming franchises receive action figures.
