Congrats to Scarrviper For His Winning NECA Battle Contest Entry

under Toyark Spotlight

Due to a massive snowstorm that his the Northeastern U.S., the results were delayed a bit. However, we’re proud to announced the winner of the NECA Battle Photo Contest. New Toyark forum member scarrviper has been chosen the winner. He will receive a set of NECA’s Predator Series 14 – AvP Predators 7″ Scale Figures courtesy of NECA Toys. We want to thank everyone for their absolutely stunning entries. It was an insanely difficult challenge to pick just one winner.

    One entry will be accepted. If you want to share more images, feel free. Just let us know which image you want to be your specific entry in the contest. I clarified the 1 entry rule in the news post.

    Thanks! This was a fun one to shoot, it got me to use some great figures I hadn't touched in a awhile.

    I'll say one thing. These Preds are hard to pose.
    I did some shots today but didnt like the way they looked. Too stiff.
    Will do some more tomorrow with different poses.

    They're hard to pose for dynamic action but just for a cool standing pose they handle easy. The AVP bucks are much easier to get into actual dynamic poses, and the torso joint is not even the main bonus it's the little additions to the limbs that add up.

    These are great! tough competition... mine is taking a bit, I like practical effects a lot.
