Gecco Previews Their Ultraman Statue

Our friends at Gecco have previewed their latest 1/6 scale statue. They will be releasing an Ultraman 1/6 Scale Statue, which we originally glimpsed at San Diego Comic-Con 2015. The new images showcase the fully painted version. We also get our first look at the unmasked swappable head sculpt. Gecco will begin taking pre-orders on January 6th, 2016 for a release in May. We’ll update when more photos and info is available.

    Looks nothing like any Ultraman I've ever seen. Looks like an Iron Man armor like Dolemite said, even Ultraman have to wear armor now?!?

    This might make a nice articulated figure on a smaller scale. Reminds me a bit of Brandon Routh's Atom costume, if Ultron wore it.

    That's because this is the Manga Ultraman from the currently serialized ongoing series. It's been adapted to English by Viz Media since earlier this year. This Ultraman is the son of the original original human host of Ultraman. His suit allows him to access the "Ultra Factor" powers he inherited because of his fathers exposure to the original Ultraman.

    There already is one. The S.H. Figuarts X Ultra-Act Manga UltraMan. It came out several months ago actually.
