First off, Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S. readers! Man, DC likes to drop figures at the end of the year don’t they? :) Wave 2 of the Arkham Knight figures are dropping now and today we are looking at Nightwing, Jim Gordon and Robin. Catwoman is due to hit soon as well, but we don’t have her here today. The line continues wave 1’s spot on game look for all the classic characters. Nightwing is significantly older and rocking a 5 o’clock shadow. Robin is all grown up with his shaved head and battle shield. And Jim Gordon is pre nursing home rocking it Barney Miller style. Head on in after the break to check over 75 shots for wave 2 courtesy of site sponsor Entertainment Earth.

Overall – Not a bad line up. The figures are well constructed, have great paint. The overall designs for them from the game are accurate, but not my personal favorite interpretation of them in figure form. Works in the game, little dirty and grungy for a figure. Perfect if you are a game first guy and want to rep it in your line up. Articulation is above average, no breakages. Only downside with them, and wave 1, is that the arms don’t lay flat along the torso, they shoot out at about 55 degrees from the shoulder at all times. This is really evident on Gordon who you may not want in an action pose. Bottom line, another great offering for an alternate Bat-verse from DCC, pick em up for your character specific line ups or if the Akrham verse is your thing!
Note – the hood on Robin is not meant to be removed. It has paint over the connection point to the cape, so if you “tear” it off, you will have a sloppy collar like the pics above. We just wanted to show what was under there to everyone.
