Entertainment Earth has an exclusive 3.75 inch scale Star Wars The Force Awakens Class I vehicle, the Desert Assault Walker. It comes with an exclusive Stormtrooper Officer denoted by it’s orange pauldron, not available anywhere else. The walker is a repaint of the mass release First Order Assault Walker with a brown and tan palette, and the figure’s orange pauldron hearkens back to Sandtroopers from the OT. We’ve done up some shots of the set after the break, check them out along with some additional info. They are in stock now and shipping from Entertainment Earth.
- Vehicle has exclusive brown desert deco.
- Figure has exclusive Reddish Orange shoulder pad/pauldron, available nowhere else in this color.
- Vehicle is designed to be the Segway scooter of Star Wars – the figure can stand and pilot it. This has the added bonus of allowing many more Star Wars figures to pilot it, without as much fear of compatibility issues.
- Vehicle has articulated legs, feet, and a cannon.
- Awesome box art painting
- Will look great with Jakku and Tatooine vehicles!
- When this sells out, it’s permanently gone!

That updated Tie Fighter is nice.
If I collected this line, I would have so much fun creating something awesome with Starkiller, the Tie Fighter, and a bunch of Stormtroopers.
The soft rubbery plastic they used on the TIE and X-Wing is a real disappointment, especially since the sculpt is nice. Warped wings forever.
It's the wing panels. You can see in the photo they are not flat.
Has anyone bought and opened the First Order Snowspeeder yet? I'm wondering if it has rubbery/warped parts too.
I'm mainly out of collecting Star Wars and pretty much have been for three years, minus a single figure here or there. That said I wouldn't pass up some of the new figures, maybe certain ones that strike my fancy, but I just cannot get into this 5 POA business. I will wait to see what the 3.75 black figures look like and possibly get some of those.
Micromachine spotlight is up:

the big thing that kept me away from the new MM is the fact that they dont have stands like the original ones had.
Yeah that was a bummer. Only way to get cool poses with the ships interacting was to put two playsets next to each other. Hopefully Hasbro or someone makes some stand packs with the proper peg ports. Even peg add-ons for Tamashii stands would work.
Love the new micro machines, but yeah they need to include some flight stands. It's the one thing holding the line back from true greatness. Even so, building tiny armies doesn't get much better for the price points.
Updated with the Snow Trooper Officer:

Shame about the dumpy elbows on the Snowtrooper. But, that's the state we're in. Cut as many corners as possible when people will buy it anyway.
I feel like the orange pauldron isn't really an issue since it was never the intended goal of the Empire to have any kind of camouflage so it stands that the First Order feels the same. Snowtroopers are just white because Stormtroopers are white, if they were actively trying to hide themselves then Scout-Troopers wouldn't be wearing all white too.

Edit: Mine came in today and I was able to get mine into a nice both hands shooting pose. I really like the pauldorn's visual flair.
cool toys, hope the movie is good

Admittedly though it's possible the pauldrons on these new snowtroopers wouldn't do too much to give them away. Snow blindness could hide them as it might anything, otherwise they'd be just as visible as any other snowtrooper regardless of the target on their shoulder.
