Marvel Infinite Wave 7 Korg Photo Shoot

Posted on October 25, 2015 at 11:11 pm by DESTRO under Marvel Toy News, Random Photo Shoot

Korg was one of the survivors of the Maw Gladiator Training School, and was paired with the Hulk and several others in a gladiator team. In their first battle, the Hulk forced Korg to kill Margus, who had been driven insane. Korg was anguished, but got over his brother’s death and eventually developed a friendship with the Hulk. Korg was freed by the Silver Surfer after fighting in the Imperial Arena in a bid for the Emperor’s favor.

Marvel Infinite Korg

Pros
Adds to your Hulk Universe collection

Cons
Poor articulation

Overall
Korg pushes the Marvel Infinite line deep into the Universe. I’m sure there are a few Hulk fans out there that will want this in their collection but this is a pass for me. It’s not a bad looking figure but I just have zero need for this on my shelf.

It's been awhile since I got a Deadpool figure, and I always liked this mold a lot. I'll probably pick him up if I get lucky enough to see him in the wild. I love the color scheme too, though I wish it was the Gold team colors he donned in MvC3

I'm so glad the newest waves will have the new card art, that's my biggest pet peeves on these infinite ones is that it makes the figure look that much cheaper.

I'm glad they decided to include the cape this time for Emma. The Legends version was sorely lacking, especially given the current aftermarket prices.

The open hand is key, dude. I don't know if it's still the case, but part of Northstar's shtick is that he and his sister, Aurora, can only access all their powers when grasping hands. Which means that the open hand is necessary for a proper brother-and-sister display.

Good post, I was just going to say that.

    ^^
Their ability to produce light was predicated on grasping hands, not their other powers...they didn't actually do it that often in my experience with the original Byrne run of the book, but I could see that being important to some fans.
