Marvel Infinite Wave 7 Chameleon Photo Shoot

Posted on October 18, 2015 at 10:09 pm by DESTRO under Marvel Toy News, Random Photo Shoot

I am invisible because I am the same thing you look at every dreadful, dull day. I am the day before you realize everything has gone horribly, horribly wrong. I am the Chameleon. The Chameleon often would engage in numerous unlawful endeavors. Sometimes, he has worked in the employ of others, including Hydra, a technologically advanced, neo-fascist subversive organization, the Leader and the Lobo Brothers. He also impersonated Jonah J. Jameson until Spider-Man found out about it. Often, he committed robberies solely for his own benefit. In addition to Spider-Man, the Chameleon also ran afoul of crimefighters Daredevil, Torpedo and others.

Marvel Infinite Chameleon

Pros
Awesome extra heads
Really cool character

Cons
No weapon
Awful leg articulation

Overall
I have mixed feeling about this Marvel Infinite Chameleon. The really bad let articulation throws me off when I am trying to pose this figure. The sport jacket blocks almost all hip articulation and that leaves you with very little options. Also not packing in a handgun I think was lame. The extra 2 heads are cool and I see a lot of people who like to do customs picking this figure up. It works just fine a static shelf filler but don’t expect much from the action side of things. It’s still on the buy list for me because I love the character.

It's been awhile since I got a Deadpool figure, and I always liked this mold a lot. I'll probably pick him up if I get lucky enough to see him in the wild. I love the color scheme too, though I wish it was the Gold team colors he donned in MvC3

I'm so glad the newest waves will have the new card art, that's my biggest pet peeves on these infinite ones is that it makes the figure look that much cheaper.

I'm glad they decided to include the cape this time for Emma. The Legends version was sorely lacking, especially given the current aftermarket prices.

The open hand is key, dude. I don't know if it's still the case, but part of Northstar's shtick is that he and his sister, Aurora, can only access all their powers when grasping hands. Which means that the open hand is necessary for a proper brother-and-sister display.

Good post, I was just going to say that.

    ^^
Their ability to produce light was predicated on grasping hands, not their other powers...they didn't actually do it that often in my experience with the original Byrne run of the book, but I could see that being important to some fans.
