Bandai has just released photos and info for their first Star Wars: The Force Awakens Model Kits. There will be a 1/12 Scale First Order Stormtrooper as well as a 1/72 Scale X-Wing and a 1/144 Scale Millennium Falcon.
The First Order Stormtrooper 1/12 Scale Model Kit will require assembly and will have decals, but not require painting (unless you want to add your own details). It will include interchangeable hands, a shield, a tonfa stick, a blaster and a figure stand. It’s scheduled for release in November at a price of 2,592 Yen (about $21 USD).
The 1/72 Scale Resistence X-Wing Fighter comes unassembled, but pre-painted. It will also include decals. The vehicle will include weapon effects, canopy pieces, a display stand, as well as standing and seated pilots as well as BB-8. This will be available in October at a price of 2,592 Yen (about $21 USD).
Finally, the 1/144 Scale Millennium Falcon will also come unassembled, but pre-painted. It will include its own decals. It will include a canopy that opens, engine effects pieces, a display stand, and multiple scaled figures. The figures are Han Solo, Rey (standing and Seated), Finn, and BB-8. This will be available in October at a price of 5,400 Yen (about $45 USD).
