When master thief Scott Lang puts on his Ant-Man helmet, he can shrink to half an inch tall. But his strength doesn’t shrink with him, so when he throws a punch, watch out! And that giant winged ant by his side? Well, how else would you expect a microscopic Super Hero to travel?

Marvel Universe Ant-Man with Flying Ant
Pros
Awesome character
Concept of the flying Ant is awesome
Cons
Giant Ant poorly executed
Loose wings and legs
Overall
The Marvel Universe Ant-Man was one of those box sets I was looking forward to cracking open and checking out. The concept of a giant articulated Flying Ant in 3 3/4 scale was awesome. Unfortunately the giant Ant has many issues with the ball joints that connect the wings and legs. As an adult I can handle loose joints because most of this stuff sits on a shelf and never moves, but if a kid had this toy and started playing, it would just fall apart. It’s still a cool set just not for kids.
