Walmart Plan-O-Gram Leaks Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3.75-Inch Black Series

Posted on August 6, 2015 at 3:11 pm by Joe Moore under Star Wars Toy News

Someone didn’t get the memo that Force Friday info is supposed to be kept under wraps until September. A Walmart employee apparently left their Force Friday Plan-O-Gram in plain sight. The folks over at Yakface have posted up a few snapshots of the document, which, we can’t stress enough, was just left in the open for anyone to see.

There are a few cool tidbits, such as Micro Machines, Role Play and Hot Wheels. But the best bit of info is the likely confirmation that we’ll see Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3.75″ Black Series Figures. You can check out one of the images after the jump. Hop over to Yakface for the rest of the shots.

I only care about 2 pegs on this plan o gram. SW 6inch Black series.
But I do not see a spot for the 6 in Black Tie Fighter??? Is it only going to be at TRU???

Yeah, there's been all kinds of hot debate over this on Jedi Temple Archives today, and on other sites too I'm sure, over what all the Black Series abbreviations mean and what we may actually be getting in terms of 3.75-inch figures. It could be a Black Series assortment of super-articulated TFA characters and other previously rumored figures from the OT and PT, or it could be leftover Black Series stock from Waves 7 and 8 which are just now starting to show up at Walmarts in large quantities. (They still need a place to put those in a few weeks right?) Who knows. It's still a little early for me to get my hopes up too high for this being what we all hope it is.

walmart usually puts out their planaograms on their shelves well in advance of a reset. this doesn't seem all that out of the ordinary.

I totally expect the 3.75" figures for The Force Awakens to be 5-POA.

There's going to be, apparently, both 5 POA "Mission Series" and 3.75" Black Series, which haven't been 5 POA at all.

I figured there would be "normal" figures too, I am just worried that there will be more 5-POA (which really aren't as bad as some would make them out to be) than there would be normal.

It's not that their bad its that most of the time there's a character I wish was more than 5poa like a few of the new rebels for example. I would have bought 3 of pink fett chick if she had more articulation. Sadly the one I got looks like a random cosplay chick displayed chilling next to my other figs which are in action poses

Well that and they also do as minimal paint as possible, the Bossk for example has a lot of paint details that they chose to omit whereas the Rebels toys are just based on a cartoon so they will look less detailed and have less paint than the movie based toys because their original source is less detailed.

I miss the clone wars line.. I think they did a great job of mixing a ton of articulation and minimal articulation. I'd still love to get all of the trooper that appeared in the show but were never given figures.

I'm a 3.75" scale collector, so I'll definitely be picking those up. The First Order seems more interesting to me, so I'll most likely get more of those, but if there's a rolling BB-8 (or any BB-8.) Count me in!

There is one with the 5 POA ones that seems pretty good. It comes with the Millennium Falcon and this set Chefatron recently reviewed. I'm waiting to see if it comes with a Black series figure before taking the dive on one of them, though.

    Hello! Just jumping in!

I haven't collected any Star Wars figures since Episode 3 came out(as any kid would), but this new movie really intrigues me, so I'm gonna test the waters again. Am I the only one who's doing something like that?

I think they probably gave him all the articulation they could with the "basic" release :P

He'll probly still get a black series release because they know people will want him.

She might change outfits in the movie (we already know that Finn and Poe sport at least two looks) and the toys are just focusing on the Jakku look for now, possibly because any other outfit for the character at this point could be a spoiler.

Even then, they couldn't include him with a Black Series figure? To get him, you have to either buy the Millennium Falcon or a pack with 2 5 POA figures.

No doubt. I just hope this doesn't become her iconic costume. Hoping for something more awesome.
