Star Wars licensing has been in full swing since Disney took over, and part of that push has been an expansion in action figures to the Asian markets. Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts and Movie Realization Series, Medicom’s Mafex line, Kaiyodo’s Revoltech, Hot Toys, and of course – Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai. The PAK figures are alternate takes, artistic representations of classic characters, not meant to be screen accurate. They are big, 10-11 inches tall, solid plastic with tons of articulation and paint apps.
The first one was Darth Vader, who we shot in June. Next up is Boba Fett, now in hand and ready to show off all he’s got. This is another impressive piece, so if you dig the alternate takes I’d grab them while you can. They are moving like hot cakes. Check out our gallery of over 80 shots after the break courtesy of Big Bad Toy Store!
