Mondo is taking on the toy and collectible industry in some very cool and interesting ways. Their approach to collectibles has been really fun so far, and they only look to be getting better. USA Today shares news on some of Mondo’s items for San Diego Comic-Con 2015. There’s an assortment of prints and vinyl records. There’s also the previously revealed First Hellboy Statues.
However, it’s the inclusion of Mirage Comic Style Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures that will leave fans ecstatic. These roughly 1/6 scale figures will stand at 11″ tall and will be fully articulated. They will be modeled after the classic comic series. The first figure revealed is Leonardo. The figure will include a red mask, a cartoon style blue mask, his katanas and other accessories. At SDCC, Mondo will also be displaying the other Turtles as well. Price is yet to be revealed.
UPDATE:
The USA Today story made it seem as if Leo would be on sale. He will NOT be on sale, and the figure is NOT an exclusive to the show. Mondo has posted an update. All four Turtles will be On Display Only. Leo will have over 25 points of articulation and will also include interchangeable hands.
You can see the pic by reading on. You can check out the other items at USA Today.

Looks really good but at that scale, quality, and accessory count it's probably too pricey for me.
It's gonna be soooo expensive. But damn that looks amazing.
It looks interesting but the picture is too small to get a better idea of it's quality.
Joe to the rescue! That's much better. Looks great. Would love to see it's size compared to other figures. This pic alone makes it look like a Classics figure with a better paint app.
Yeah, when I first saw it I thought the 6/7/8 inch Classics Playmates line had moved to them with more paint apps. Which would have been friggin perfect actually.
This looks great too, but it's def gonna be out of budget here.
Looks like a really cool figure, but that size of a figure from Mondo? Probably going to cost more than I would want them to.
I almost wish they did a B&W turtle instead if they're just gonna rerelease this one, but still very cool. Now if only we could get The Shredder!

I'll be quite surprised if the turtles are less than $200 each.
Damn! Thought I could buy this at the show. If these are $150-200 I'll pass on them. For Shredder I'd go $150, or just knowing he was gonna be produced I'd buy the Turtles. W/O any idea if other characters are coming, I couldn't just payout that much a piece. Playmates Classics and NECA both never released a Shredder. Just prototypes. I feel like I have enough Turtles at this point.
If the turtles do well enough, Shredder, Casey and a Foot Soldier are to be the second wave, apparently.
Dude if that's the case, I'd be so happy! Especially a Casey and a Shredder?! These will do better than good, as long as the price is right. $200+ would be ridiculous. I'm a HUGE TMNT fan but I wouldn't pay that much. Although, at this point I'd pay up for a Shredder or Casey.
It was mentioned on the Expresso Beans forum, a place where Mondo's art is discussed at length.
WOW!! Now, that's some serious turtle!!
...and a possible Shredder to match sounds equaly awesome.

Confirmation of the second wave plans, too.
If it was a smaller scale, I'd be all over this. Fantastic paint job & sculpt.
