Being on a recent Godzilla kick, I thought this was a cool bit of news. Back at New York Comic-Con we saw a retro style Shogun Warriors Godzilla at the Toynami display. Now, Toynami has released a few new photos and info for the upcoming figure. It’s shipping soon, with a release in late July or early August. From Toynami:

This evokes such pleasant memories from my childhood! I had Godzilla, Rodan, Gaiking, Raydeen, and Daimos. It's nice to see the rebirth of these toys...

I've been wanting this, but I seriously can't see how on earth this is has a $250 price tag. Were only 500 made? I just found the huge 2ft tall movie Godzilla today at Kmart for just $40. I was able to buy a vintage complete original for $200. A new one shouldn't be near this price. This leaves me out.
