Posted on May 28, 2015 at 3:15 pm by Joe Moore under Godzilla Toy News

Back at NECA’s Toy Fair 2015 Booth, we got our first good look at their upcoming Godzilla 1954 12″ Head-To-Tail Figure. With the figure scheduled to hit this Fall, NECA has released some new official photos and info. The black and white Godzilla figure will feature about 30 points of articulation. It will stand about 6″ tall (12″ is the head-to-tail measurement) and will include a bendable tail.

Godzilla 1954 hits in September. You can check out their official images by reading on. We’ll have more info as it becomes available.

Pisses me off that this wasn't the figure that NECA opted for when they were doing the Video Game version. This guy would have looked phenomenal with the pixelated paint scheme.

WANT! This is the Godzilla I've wanted since they started the line.

The legs look a tad small to me but that aside, I think it looks great. Love the head. Neca definitely captured those crazy eyes.

The legs look fine to me, he did have kinda nubby legs. Speaking of crazy eyes, the '84 figure also nailed them. Though the toy managed to make them look more menacing than the actual movie ones did, Return of Godzilla had some goofy eyes.

Same here! This looks amazing too! Anybody else notice the fingers are articulated?

It seems like they are going on and off again with giving their Godzilla toys finger articulation. I could see them re-releasing this later in the actual costume colors of brown-ish as opposed to the black and white color scheme this release uses for film accuracy.

It depends on which suit you are looking at.

The head on the NECA figure is based off the actual suit.

I always visualize the puppet head with the quivering lips, but yeah it was better that they went with the actual suit look. 'Tis a fun toy either way.

I don't. As I said in my review of the movie, that animatronic head just looks weird at times.

Just looked at a few shots of the suit and yep, they are fine. I was wrong. Not as tall as I remember them being.

It's not my go to look for the design but it is definitely memorable in its own way, it's so weird and goofy looking that it comes to mind first.
