Square Enix has released the first official photos and info for their upcoming Play Arts Variant – Marvel Universe Thor. This is their redesigned version of the God of Thunder, which we saw back at Toy Fair 2015 for the first time. Thor will include a swappable portrait, Mjolnir, a swinging Mjolnir attachment, a lightning effect and three sets of interchangeable hands. Thor also features a plastic cape and a figure stand.
The figure is due for release in September. He will be priced at 14,800 Yen (about $122 USD). Check out the photos after the jump.
Going to post these as three stories cause they're all interesting.

Play Arts Variant Thor
Play Arts Variant Predator

Play Arts Kai Metal Gear Solid V Burning Man

Well this confirms that Burning Man is supposed to be an apparition of Volgin. People guessed it based on the combat suit, but the bullets between his knuckles confirm it.
I look at The Burning Man and all I see is a very interesting version of Marvel's Daredevil.
Yup that's definitely gotta be Volgin somehow. I kinda like the Thor but not so much the Predator.
That is not a predator....I...I...don't know what that is.
When I look at that Predator, I honestly have know idea what I'm looking at
I'm pretty sure that's Kurse from Thor 2.
everyone isn't liking the predator... i actually do, looks different with the facial features as well as color. kind of resembles one of those ancient Japanese demons or ghost samurai.
Hrrn. I remember catching a glimpse of this "burning man" in the initial Phantom Pain trailer, and I got really excited by the idea that it could be a younger Psycho Mantis. But that's clearly not him.
Figure looks cool though.
Thor is awesome, the best Marvel PAK so far i.m.o
Figure looks cool though.
Honestly, even though it was obvious to me that it was Volgin or his ghost or whatever, it's still disappointing to have that lame twist confirmed. I don't know if it's that I'm getting older or what, but I'm just over Kojima's incessant need to reference his existing characters in each and every one of his new ones.
Sometimes it even makes sense, by having the father of another iconic character, like Otacon's dad, but it still just ends up feeling lazy. I'll always love the Metal Gear franchise in my own way, but I do really hope the Phantom Pain really is the final chapter in this saga. They're just really out of ideas and it shows in every character design.
