Last week we got our first look at the Tamashii Mexico Exhibition exclusive S.H. Figuarts Son Goku. This is the non Super Saiyan Goku mold with a new “angry” face and the “Go” Kaji on his outfit. Additional pictures have surfaced over on a Chinese blog which shows off the figure in detail. Check them out after the break at hit the site for even more!
Exclusive S.H. Figuarts Son Goku at the Tamashii Mexico Exhibition - The Toyark - News

Man, if I wanna stay complete, this is gonna be a tough one.
If anyone is in Mexico and plans on attending, and wouldn't mind picking one up for me, I'll return the favor in cash or grabbing US exclusives up here for you later on. You can PM me here.
eh. I'll pass on this one. I'd rather they reissue the Vegetas or release God Super Saiyan Vegeta.
I'd really like to get this, but their plan to sell this only at that event makes zero sense from a business standpoint. I don't see how that con could put out the kinda coinage to pull an exclusive like this. I could see a multi-con sorta thing with this being the first and maybe SDCC rounding it out, but making it exclusive to one con is EXPENSIVE. I'd like it for the fact that it's the most accurate Goku yet, but it looks there is no way to do it reasonably.
Seriously? The version of Goku I've been waiting for is exclusive to an event in MEXICO?!
Oh. Come. On. I hate exclusives... -_-
Maybe they want to bust into the Mexico South American market.

The Expo is actually going to be in Mexico City not the city Juarez, The address says Juarez because the venue is close to the "Juarez" Subway Station located in the Chuahutemoc Neighborhood in Mexico City (or something like that, Mexico City Adresses are a little confusing to me, in either case it refers to a specific part of Mexico City not the city Juarez close to the border with the US)
Now Im not sure if the figure will be a Mexico only exclusive since some people have made a good point saying producing an Exclusive like this only for mexico would be a little expensive, maybe they'll also release it at SDCC and change the packaging cause I do believe the packaging is Exclusive to this Expo (since it has the mexican flag colors) In any case I know the Distributor (Distribuidora AniMexico) who imports these figures in Mexico has had a very good relationship with Bandai Japan for years now and this isnt the first Bandai Tamashii Nations Expo they've done in Mexico and the people at DAM have been working hard to get an exclusive for years (they've tried to get at the very least Tamashii Nations Japan Exclusive figures to be able to sell in their expo but havent been able to, and this year aparently they got Bandai to make and exclusive for their event in Mexico) I know for a fact that a lot of tamashii products sell very well in Mexico (not only DBZ, they practically sell out their imported stock on most lines like Saint Seiya Myth Cloth and S.H. Figuarts), its only natural that Bandai would give that market a special thanks like this exclusive figure
This version should've been the original release. SMH This Honestly makes me a little upset. It feels as if theyre with holding good products.

This is basically the DEFINITIVE Goku. It's how Goku should have been and to release it in an area that is apparently going to be impossible to get outside actually attending the convention seems like a HUGE financial misadventure to me...maybe that's just my business side taking over.
Also, I know this hasn't been mentioned, but is that a new chest sculpt as well? The V doesn't seem to go down as far?

Hopefully most markets will be able to get their hands on this figure after all we are all collectors and Id rather wish that everyone gets a chance to own figures than to criticize the desicion of Companies to sell only to certain markets (Ive been on the other end having trouble to get US or Japan exclusives and it's a pain and hate it but understand thats sometimes thats just the case)
In any case I do hope everyone gets a chance to own this figure.

Indeed, I'm hoping the box is all that makes this a Mexico exclusive, and that it'll get re-released later on. As I said earlier, this is THE version of Goku I've been waiting for.
And I wasn't able to secure myself a single pair of those awesome Mexican DBZ sneakers, so I doubt I'll have luck with this either.

Yeah, seriously. Since they refuse to include the normal and SS heads in one package they should have made the normal version of Goku with the symbols to begin with. I would gladly trade my retail version for one of these or a similar SDCC one. I just wish there was a site that sold SS Goku and regular Vegeta heads so I wouldn't have to buy whole figures I don't want.

Thanks for sharing, and crediting the source.
Looks like the chest was unaltered then. That is a really solid Goku, colors are tight and the symbols pop.
Yep, my bad. I guess it was just the angle on the photos that made me think the V was different. Still a little miffed that this version is only at that one con.
