Wow...... Marketing genius!!!!
Force Friday.... Wrote it on the family calendar JUST now.
That packaging is so incredibly reminiscent of the ROTS packaging with Vader
...not really liking the packaging...nothing really New here !!! Really to bad !! But until I see product in the package then I'll definitely say yes Or no!!!
Haaa Disney stores ...why would I go there and pay wayyy above Wally mart prices ...
As long as the toys are cool, who cares what the packaging is like? I get that packaging is meant to draw the eye but the moment you open the toy (which I do) then the packaging is just pretty trash.
Haaa Disney stores ...why would I go there and pay wayyy above Wally mart prices ...
I am VERY excited about the midnight release parties !
Back in '05, I had a great time at a release party for the Revenge of the Sith figures, so I've been hoping, for quite some time, that Hasbro had some sort of midnight release party planned for the Ep. VII figures !

Also it is a global party. There are no Wal-Marts in most of the countries. Not one for thousands of miles near me. Disney Stores are everywhere. Plus I am 99.99% positive they will have some exclusive offerings.
@En Sabah... The packaging is very important to a great percentage of collectors.
Yeah, those mint collectors and what not should get something more than just a white box with regular print for their displays I reckon.
..Disney stores ..or store here are wayyy more over priced than most retailers ( Wally mart /.. Even TRU CANADA) and I think there are wayyy more Wallys in North America than Disney stores.
Nuff said
reminds me too much of the phantom menace packaging.
