NECA has tweeted out a photo of a new in-progress Predator mask. The mask bears a distinct resemblance to the Temple Guard Predator. The character was seen in briefly in Alien vs Predator. The images shows an early development stage sculpt. We’ll have more when it becomes available.

This and they just revealed Brawler Yukon for the Pacific Rim line, NECA loves to tease their fans.

This is a good full body image of him from the movie to give an idea of how the toy will look. I assume NECA will make him slimmer like they're doing with the three main guys.
Eh looks like the Jungle Hunter from P1 more or less. Personally I liked the armored look the Preds from AVP had. Just thought the movie was meh.
Truth be told the AVP Pred costume is the one I play as in Concrete Jungle. Yeah I still play that big whoop wanna fight about it?

The differences are there but yes this guy is reminiscent of the Jungle Hunter. I have actually always liked Celtic from AVP, the big brute that he is. His mask alone wins him a ton of points in my book.
I can sort of get Predators wearing almost full body armor, that's how they looked in the original AVP comics. It was just how damn bulky they were in AVP the movie that was stupid. Predators already have a bit of bulk anyway but they need to keep that agility factor too. The Predators in AVP did not look like they could hang from a tree.

Yeah they were too bulky but NECA seems to have fixed that by slimming them down some AND keeping the cool extra armor. Win/win for me.

It is a win/win situation indeed. I can have Celtic and his awesome mask without having his 'roided up body.
