The preview for the upcoming DC Comics Batman Gotham Knight Sixth Scale Figure from Sideshow featured a very, I’ll say unique, cowl for the Caped Crusader. However, Sideshow has posted up a full gallery and new info on the figure, and we can see there will be three different cowls and three different facial expressions available. Also included with the 12″ Batman figure will be multiple interchangeable hands (including a Kryptonite Ring hand), a grapple gun with rope, Batarangs and a figure stand. Pre-orders begin on February 26th at a price of $199.99.
Check out the images after the jump.

man, you make those ears any taller and he'll need a red light on top of them for planes.
If you're going to put handlebars on your head at least make them too big to fit in a toilet... I guess. I can't look at big bat ears without focusing on how impractical they would be in a fight. I know I can't dwell too much since he has a cape but the ears can push it too far for me.
I get a pretty big Sam Kieth vibe from that head sculpt. I really like Kieth's art, but it doesn't look like it translates to a "real world" look too well.
That looks horrible. "Banana Man." And what's with the jowls?
The rest of the costume looks promising. I like the Zorro-ish approach to the cape. The belt and tights seem very functional, back to Year One basics.
Definitely gotta do something about that head sculpt. Batman is NOT Richard Nixon.
Do not want lol
Looks like he's really trying to hold one in instead of going to the bathroom.
The figure and accessories might turn out to be really good, but I think if I was going to buy after I get to see the full reveal, that head has got to go! Could be worse though:

those are some pretty great options. i still oddly prefer the long ears.. they just look a bit more creepy.
I cant tell if he has a nose
I would buy if not for the cowl on his chest, body frame doesn't feel like bats, and his chin.
who knew it could be hard to make batman with a good chin, when that's all you see..
I love the costume and accessories, but find the head sculpts very off-putting. From left to right: 1) Having a BM, 2) Gonna Cry, 3) Root Canal.

The face is unsuitable for the costume.
I'm still waiting for a nice figure tribute to Year One. David Mazzuchelli indicated that he had Gregory Peck in mind when he began character sketches for Bruce Wayne. A simple passive expression on a strong, generic male face with short, forward-pointing ears would serve.
Thanks for letting me vent.
