Marvel Legends Iron Fist Allfather Wave Photo Shoot

Posted on February 18, 2015 at 7:33 pm by DESTRO under Marvel Toy News, Random Photo Shoot

Daniel Rand is the current bearer of the immortal power of the Iron Fist. He is a living weapon, empowered with the mystical energy of the otherworldly city K’un-Lun. Trained by the immortal fighter Lei Kung the Thunderer, he was already an exceptional fighter when he faced and defeated the dragon Shou Lou, and took his power. With this power, he is capable of healing injuries, adapting to almost any environment, and striking his opponents with superhuman force.

Marvel Legends Iron Fist Allfather Wave

Pros
Many interchangeable hands for Kung-Fu fighting
Stands well on it’s own
Good articulation

Cons
No yellow energy bursts accessories!

Overall
This is not one of my favorite characters from the Marvel Universe, however it turned out to be a decent action figure. I know this wave had a lot of extras, but to not pack in the yellow energy burst fist was a let down for Iron Fist.

Thanks Joe! I figured I would throw Vision in there since they are married in the comics. Old School!

SPOILER ALERT FOR THE COMICS Wanda actually isn't Magneto's daughter anymore and so technically Quicksilver isn't his son either, I strongly believe they did this to make the MCU more similar without the Magneto element now END SPOILER ALERT

Even though I mainly collect Marvel Universe because it allows for more variety in less space and what not, I may get this one. I do prefer though that the MU 4" figure kept the shoulder area pink, I can't recall any design where she wore this costume and was bare on the shoulders area.

If you ask me they did that to block Fox from using them in an X-men film loop hole because Magneto is their father. I also think they did it because they can't use Magneto in Avengers films so they cut that tie. Real shame whats going on in the comics because of movie rights.

The movies should be influenced by the comics, not the other way around. It doesn't really change her character though.

I 100% agree and you can start to see the crack in the wall over at Marvel when they do stuff like this. Bottom line Marvel wants X-Men and FF back and shots have been fired on all fronts. The latest is no new X-Men characters or new designs. They are going to put the screws to Fox. The movie money involved is huge and I only see it getting worse.

The latest? That's been their policy for around the last 5 years now.

It comes and goes in the news cycle, but with the Mutant/Inhuman shakeup, it's getting traction again.

I get them from eBay and I use many versions. Basically every time I see a new one that looks like it will add something too poseability I just buy it.
This one is a good starting point.

Before this wave, I hadn't bought a ML in some time (I did get a Winter Soldier Stealth Cap and Widow), so getting the whole wave was something of a breath of fresh air.

Sentry was the one who surprised me the most in hand; I hadn't realized just how beefy that buck was and this version really puts the old Wal-Mart version to shame. That was the unexpected highlight of the wave for me.

    So, great pics of him.

A good looking toy, but I've always hated Sentry. Especially the way they retconned him as being a super hero before any of Marvel's main characters and then he was apparently totally great and saved the world a lot but then he wanted to stop being a hero because he was growing a second personality and he made everyone forget about him and his superhero activities. Sentry just always pissed me off.

I have to ask, how securely does your Hawkeye hold the bow like that? I don't know if I've got one with a badly bent thumb or what, but it really doesn't like to hold the bow like that; it barely fits and it's always at an angle.

Guess I got a lemon then, mine will drop the bow if it's left like that for too long and the hips are a little loose, so he can almost hula dance if you shake the shelf he's standing on.

Actually the hips on mine are the same way.
