Interesting to see a tiny 2.5 Scarlet Witch with hex bolts like the Legends figure.
So the DD figure I've been hoping for since this line's inception is cursed with ZERO torso articulation and greater limited arm and leg articulation. Thanks Hasbro.
Misty Knight, White Tiger, Marvel Now Strange... That's right Hasbro. Come get this ****'n money!
No pics of the Ultron BaF? I'm assuming that's Movie Ultron, right?
Definitely digging the Hulkbuster. I did not think I would want any more Iron Man figures but Hulkbuster and the black and gold armor figures are both wants. Doc Strange looks nice as well.
Are the Marvel legends 6 inch? Cause I see a few with DCUC Custom potential
is hasbro completely incapable of selling a movie line of 6" figures?.. i mean, come on..
I DON'T GET IT. do they not think we want movie figures?
hasn't hot toys proven that they'll sell? i don't understand how it's possible that the only way to complete a set of figures from these marvel movies is through a company that produces high end, expensive, collectors items. this is getting ridiculous.
figures of the hulk, iron man, war machine, quicksilver, captain america, scarlett witch, hawkeye, hulkbuster, ultron, ultron prime, vision, and thor are all needed in this line.. but how many of those are we getting?..
not only that.. but the only way to get ultron prime is by buying all of the ant-man figures? are you kidding me? that is the single dumbest thing i've ever heard. and the only way to get hulkbuster is by buying a bunch of comic figures?... what about people who only line the movies and never got into the comics? or ant man? what are they supposed to do?
this is seriously getting out of hand.. with the spider-man legends we only got spider-man.. no movie versions of rhino, electro, or goblin..
with captain america, we only got captain america, black widow, and the winter soldier.. no falcon, no fury..
with iron man 3.. we got iron man, and iron patriot.. are you joking? out of all of the armors that were in that movie.. all of the bad guys who were in that movie, we gut a bunch of comic figures, iron man and iron patriot.
is this a joke, a scam, or both? .. someone PLEASE tell my why they're treating this movie, which will likely be one of the biggest of all time, like this.. do they just not care about collectors (my guess would be yes)..
so, if i want in scale versions of all of those avengers 2 characters, i'd have to spend roughly $3,600 for the hot toys versions.. doesn't hasbro want any of that?
So I guess 2015 will be the "how broke can I be?" year.

I think you need to take a step back. Maybe breathe a little. You may not like it but most of what you mentioned makes plenty of business sense. It isn't a scam, it's a way to sell figures. That is what BAF has ALWAYS been.
Making Hulkbuster a BAF allows them to make him the size he deserves to be.
Ultron? Well, the IM3 Ultron figure sold terribly and I'm betting that might be why movie Ultron is a BAF.
They are giving us movie figures for Ultron, Iron Man (2), Hulk, War Machine, Ant-Man, etc. There is plenty out there for collectors that just want movie figures. It might be harder to get all the ones you want since they arent in one tidy set but you can still get them. And there are already good movies figures for most of the other characters anyway. This way they get the comic fan that doesn't much care for movie figures and there is less risk of product not selling in stores. That is better for everyone.
Hopefully characters like Falcon and Quicksilver will get made but the fact is they may think the demand is too low. I know I would have liked more IM3 movie armors but there were so many and they showed up so briefly that I dont blame them skipping it. I'm really surprised Hot Toys has made as many as they have. The runs must be small enough to ensure a sell though.
Also, they did make movie Electro for the Legends line. Not sure why anyone would ever want that but they did make it.
Cool figures, I think I will have to get these sets just for the build-a-figure Thanos and Hulkbuster, that anti-venom too
Oh that Ant-Man will be mine.
Build A Figure Ultron Revealed Here:
Marvel Legends Official Photos from Toy Fair 2015
this is straight up crazy.
i have a walmart movie avengers display.
and now i have can a completely separate ultron movie display?????
with all of their faces being shown!! subtle idea hasbro. with the hawkeye, iron man, captain america, banner all having a face sculpt with eyes now. good fckn shit though.
and the ultron AND bulkbuster surprised me. sheeeesh.
that comic ultron is whack tho. that beetle body just too thin for my taste. good thing it'll be a three pack tho. maybe itll be on clearance as well
I like the venom but would prefer a old school Eddie Brock version. As for the movie vs comic version debate I think Hasbro is doing a nice blend. If they were just movie versions I think they'd sell way worse. I'm guessing but I think there's more comic fans that would buy figures than movie fans that will go and buy toys. Doing a quick count in my head theres like 15 movie version legends this year seems pretty good. I'm sure falcon will get a release at some point it took a bit to get widow but we got her.
Even though I want the entire Multi-Pack anyways. I think its a little strange that its the only way you can get Thor, he's a pretty significant pillar of the Avengers team to not get a single packed figure. With that said I'm pretty excited about most of these figures!
Pumped that we're finally getting a new Kraven/Ghost Rider/Scarlet Spidey. Those characters have been pretty high up on my list. I'm a little confused about Vision, is that supposed to be a comic or movie figure?

Yup, all repaints for those 2-packs. That Fury is worthless if they are going to keep making it without wrist articulation. That Mark 43 looks good. Only one of the bunch worth getting.
