    Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

That's what I let out when I saw this announcement! Never owned the Animated Series Batmobile when I was a kid and this will be instantly picked up.

Anybody find it funny that it has lights and fits two 6" figures and is still the same price as that Multiverse SDCC exclusive Arkham Knight Batmobile?

OK, better now. I am getting my NO.1 figure I have waited 20 years to get, PHANTASM!!!!! AND an Animated Batmobile !!! IF they do a Grey Ghost it will be all downhill from here.

Here's hoping they fix all QC issues because I want all of these. I want to be able to open them up, pose them and enjoy them for years to come without having to worry about breakage.

    That... that's... AWESOME!!!

... and cheaper than I was expecting a batmobile with those features to be. Definitely something I'm going to have to get. Should be interesting to see that thing in-person.

The Batman and Phantasm set looks like it might be worth getting as well. Assuming it has the accesories the figures would have come with individually. It's nice to see Nightwing and Bane.

Phantasm!!! Yes! Never thought we'd get this. That Batmobile is great too. I really hope DCC can make the Red Hood from the animated movie next😱

Hrrn. Gimp mask Bane. The first figure design choice I actually have a problem with in this line, but ehh, I'll just hold out for a BTAS version.

Batmobile is AWESOME, although I do wish they would reduce the price and leave out the lights. I'll never use them.

Phantasm 2 pack? GREAT, That's a nice surprise there.

    Finally Nightwing. Nice.

Bane is just in time for the 50 shades of grey movie. But that batmobile is awesome. Are the cape removable? if not how will batman sit?

The cape is definitely removable. The NBA version has two different capes it can wear, and I'll be surprised if the TAS one doesn't have two as well. Even Robin has two capes.

The Batmobile needs to come with fabric capes or half-capes, so the figures can sit in the Batmobile with their capes still on.

Just got a preorder announcement from BBTS for these and the DC Icons figures. They have the Batmobile for $85 instead of the $100 that originally announced.

Awesome! No Phantasm and Batman 2 pack listed though. I wonder how DCC are gonna release this? Batman from BTAS doesn't come out until July. This 2 pack may be a release way down the road. Kinda sucks that I'll have to wait even longer to buy the BTAS Batman. I almost want to assume October?

    PHANTASM!!!!!!! With Batman accessory figure!

I'm glad they went with TAS Hatter, NBA may have been closer to the comics but he was only used in one episode and it was weak compared to how he was handled previously.
We've all already discussed Scarecrow on another thread.
I was right they'd use NBA Bane, whether I get it or not is still undecided. I like everything beneath the collar better from his redesign, particularly the uniform coloring and more advanced looking venom controls, but the spiked collar is the main detractor. Yeah the mask is pretty gimpy, but it's not enough to lose that many points from me. My biggest problem with TAS Bane design was the leggings being a different color than the rest of his attire and his nose sticking through his mask, it was just too luchador. Obviously Bane always had the strong Mexican wrestler vibe, but he wasn't one.

Honestly the big reason I'm happier with gimp Bane over luchador Bane is just the episodes themselves. In TAS Bane is introduced as a mercenary/assassin hired to kill Batman, he is fairly well established as big, strong, and intelligent (at least they say he is) but he just plain loses to Batman. No Knightfall mimicry where he wins and then later Batman scores payback, he just gets very easily outmaneuvered. In NBA, however, he kicks the shit out of Batman. Yes it was just a dream sequence, but he was treated much more as a threat. Stronger and faster than Batman, plus a wit that again implied he's certainly no idiot. That fight ended in a sort of draw, Batman won the initial struggle but then Bane threw the Bat-signal at him and he fell off a building.
Ideally the design wouldn't have had s&m gear, but my greater appreciation for the "over the edge" episode brings a big bias in favor of NBA design Bane.

I guess DC was not to happy with Mattel quitting the 6" line also....great news....great news.

I am curious the existing DCC line, is that a 7" line?

These are just goddamn awesome. Was likely gunna pick up some of these that are already out, but the new figures (Especially Batman & Mad Hatter) & DAT Batmobile just sealed the deal. Love a good quality vehicle for larger figures, it's a dying art I've noticed. Just looks fantastic. I hope this leads to more in some capacity as I didn't think vehicles were up DCC's alley.

I think I might have an explanation: he had more appearances with this look. His TAS look was only ever used in that one episode, this NBA look was also only in one episode of Batman but was also featured in the mystery of the Batwoman animated film and an episode of the Superman cartoon. It's more recognizable than the other look I guess.

I will be getting all, grew up with this series and they did a good job on the figures. I think every kid in the 90's watched this series, so even though 20 years is a bit late I'll take it!
