Funko is teaming up with various designers and artists for a spin off being called Vinyl Sugar. They’ve announced their first line, called Vinyl Idolz, and have shown off previews of The Dude from The Big Lebowski, Doc Brown from Back to the Future and Peter Venkman from Ghostbusters. Here’s a bit of info direct from Vinyl Sugar:
Vinyl Sugar is the illegitimate love child between Funko and some of the best free-wheeling designers from the back streets of London, the boutiques of Harajuku, and the galleries in NYC. Vinyl Sugar – because you crave it!
They announced that hey will be at Toy Fair in NYC next month (as will we). We’ll have more as it becomes available. Read on to check out the first image.
Vinyl Sugar Announces Vinyl Idolz

The overly-stylized look isn't really my style, but I'm definitely gonna have to snag at least 5 or 6 of that figure of The Dude as gifts for various friends for Christmas 2015. Despite the rabid fan following, The Big Lebowski surprisingly has very little merch available.
I actually prefer the look of these over the standard cookie cutter look of say a POP vinyl. Will be interesting to see what else they come out with...
Here's the blog for the designer's work for these. I really dig their style. They've done tons of pop culture designs. I can't wait to get my hands on these.

^Thanks for posting that. Not my thing, but I like their stuff. That Christopher Walken...Hilarious!
Agree re: Walken. Some of those caricaturized designs are terrific! But I wonder why they point the eyes in different directions. I have too many figures where that happens as a result of sloppy painting, making the characters look out of focus. Wonder if Dude could look as good just smiling with his eyes closed. Oh well, I'm not the figure designer.
