Looks like retailers continue to break street date with the Avengers Age of Ultron merchandise. Thanks to ToyArk boards member Autobot_Goldbug for letting us know that Target has put out the Marvel Universe 3.75 size class 5-points of articulation Avengers Age of Ultron Hasbro action figures. The picture shows them on clearance under the old stock number which is were the mistake was made. These figures also seem to be repacks of the Avengers Assemble toys from the first movie. With Toy fair 2015 right around the corner we hope to see a fully articulated 3.75 inch line but at this point it’s not looking good.
Sound off on the ToyArk.com forums after the jump.

They're already on clearance?
So I'm guessing these are all we're getting in this scale?
You suck Hasbro.
You suck Hasbro.
I still don't think this is all we're getting. They've been doing two separate lines like this for a while now.
I'm kinda surprised that they're doing any 3-3/4" figures for this movie at all. I was half expecting to see more of those 2.5" figures they did for GotG. Sucks that they're just 5-POA figures. Good for kids... not so good for those collectors who care about articulation.
I love the clearance stickers. Accident or not, they might as well prepare them for the inevitable. Hasbro has really lost their tough the past couple of years.

I'm a sucker for this scale, any info on who else was in the series or a DCPI number?
Claudio,
Avengers had 2 parallel "Avengers Assemble" lines, the 5 POA asst A4432 these are repacks of (though I thought Iron Man had a trans blue repulsor not purple), and the fully articulated line ("with SHIELD Gear") asst A1816. Confusing.
I really hope we see articulated figures for the movie, I do not buy 1970's low tech junk at 2010's prices.
Hasbro has just really kinda lost me the past couple of years. Though I have to admit, I'm a tad biased as I'm still kinda peeved over Star Trek... so much potential announced with their licensing and what do we get? A crappy line of Lego knock-offs and a weird TRU exclusive line of deformed minifigures...

3 3/4" is dead lads. Just the way of things now.
Honestly, the articulation isn't a big factor for me, but the sculpting is. The one figure I kinda want from this line is Cap, and there's just something... off about this sculpt. Hopefully it looks better in-person, but I'm not counting on it. Also, is it just me, or are his pants a different shade of blue?

Good lord, it's so hilarious how the pendulum swings.
A few years back, collectors were up in arms that Hasbro was looking like they were minimizing/doing away with 6" Marvel Legends figures in favor of the 3.75" Marvel Universe figures.
Back then, I made the prediction (on another site) that 6" Marvel Legends would one day be back, and that by the time all was said and done, when 3.75" Marvel Universe figures started dwindling the same people would be just as up in arms about losing it as they were "losing" the 6" figures.
Not a universe collector but reading this post and others, this is garbage. I am a big six inch guy as i know they won't make a hulkbuster bc Hasbro is lowered expectations from that mad tv skit.
No enough fans give them heck over thwir obvious gouging of fans.
I just can't see the New Sculpting, well maybe with Hulk yes - but you could sculpt muscle in all different ways. At least if they made the drones it would hurt a little less. I actually bought the older 5 POA Iron Man ones for an army, why couldn't they do the same as they did for the Chitauri(okay those ones sucked too)?
So much waste of plastic and paper! They say they are for kids but I wouldn't even let my nephews/nieces play with these.
There's this other figure line called Marvel Infinite series for adult collectors like us so no... this is not all we're getting in 3.75" scale. This line is for little kids... that's how it works.

Mad TV Skit?
PS: I'd be REALLY surprised if the 6" Age of Ultron Marvel Legends figures don't add up to a Hulkbuster BAF, probably heavily reusing bits of the Mandroid mold.
The mad tv skits...undesirable people make dating Tapes to get dates but they still are undesirable bc of their personality.
Fans need to be up Hasbro s bumpkin over this. If they don't make it, No one will for the scale fans collect.
Hasbro knows fans would clamor for it. But for profit meaning we should accept mediocrity?
I agree south the Mandroid/Monger retooled Hulkbuster.
