Gimp is only figure I'd buy from this the rest just look so blah to me. No offence to those that seem to love this type of fig but I just don't understand the thought behind paying 10-12 bucks for a figure that has less articulation than the mos figs.

No offense, but why would you buy the Gimp figure of all ReAction figures if you don't get why people love these things? I know you're not trying to be offensive, and I'm not trying to be a dick, I just find that funny.

Retro figures are cool. I understand why someone would not be into them, but the appeal is pretty obvious. These are more little pieces of art, a reminder of the 80's, much like most of Funko's stuff is. As someone who can't muster the imagination to play with my toys anymore, I find myself wanting something that might look cool on the shelf or that just reminds me of stuff I enjoy. Articulation is nice, but honestly sometimes it gets to be too much, and how much articulation to you need when it's on a shelf? Not that I prefer 5 POA, but these are based on really cool properties, and that's the pull.

I'm still waiting, hoping, praying for an RJ MacReady from The Thing in this line. I suppose I could just buy a Snake Plissken and turn the eyepatch into sunglasses.

Its different and thats why I'll keep one mixed some where amongst my figures and I know a couple people that I can gift them to. I would buy them up with elbow and knee articulation.

I just hope that we don't get another repeat of the Mezco Breaking Bad fiasco when some mom inevitably spots the Gimp while shopping at TrU !
Any news if he'll be an exclusive, or maybe omitted from the cases that go to certain stores, like TrU ?
