The Toyark’s DC Collectibles catch up galleries continue this weekend, starting with New 52 Red Robin! Tim Drake got a costume upgrade with the launch of the New 52, and this Teen Titans themed release from DC Collectibles captures the new look sans cowl. Rocking a more Robin-esque eye mask, he comes with wings, though they aren’t adjustable for flight mode. Check out our quick thoughts and 20 shots after the break!
DC Collectibles New 52 Red Robin
Pros
Great sculpt
Colors pop
Cons
Wings don’t move
Overall
Tim Drake’s New 52 Red Robin is a solid addition to the Bat Family line up, now almost complete. Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and now Red Robin are available in New 52 style. Damian is coming a la Son of Batman as well. The wings are great, it gives a solid stance on the shelf, but they don’t move so posing him in mid glide isn’t possible. All in all though, tucked behind Batman with the rest of the crew, this is a solid fig and worthy of a pick up just to be able to have the family together.
Check out some key shots below, and the entire gallery after that. Stay tuned all weekend for even more DC Collectibles catch up galleries!

Have had a bunch of DCC stuff sitting here for a bit, sharing some quick shoots of not-super-new stuff. Starting with...

DC Collectibles Catch Up Gallery - Huntress and Power Girl 2 Pack - The Toyark - News
These look nice!!! Thanks for the pics
I own this pack, the figs are very well sculpted, but maybe a little short on the articulation/posability department, specialy Power Girl. Good set anyways..
Nice photos.
They look really good! Out of scale for my interests, but attractive sculpts nevertheless....
Actually, they look like they might be in scale. Are they 6"?
Red Hood and the Outlaws up:

I could do without Arsenal and Slutfire, but I kind of want that Red Hood. However, the lack of articulation bothers me. Oh, and those blades on his glove not being removable.
I bought the Red Hood figure. Not too bad, except for those awful blades. I honestly hate the hood though. No fault of DC Collectibles, just poor design IMO. It's shocking to me that we still have yet to see the Under the Red Hood version of Jason Todd. Animated or comic, the Under the Red Jason Todd is the most infamous version. So far we have; Arkham Knight(2 figures), New 52, and Infinite Earth. Seriously, WTF is wrong we these toy companies. Get with it. If I see another Jason Todd figure that's not from Under the Hood I say we riot lol

2 Things...
1- Stop making me want more of those Flame Effects. I can't afford all I want as it is :-)
2- Did not know about the DC Direct Red Hood coming or being a GS exclusive. I will probably get it, but I really hate that look. He looks like a wannabe version of The Hood from Marvel. I agree that I have never seen why they don't make the proper Red Hood a figure.
I'm in the minority regarding Red Hood. This action figure is the absolute PERFECT version for me. New 52 Jason Todd is my favorite, and the two pages from early on in Red Hood and the Outlaws where Jason actually used those glider gauntlets are easily among my top 10 pages of artwork from comics. I just wish they included his all-blades/swords as well.
Plus every single artist draws his helmet differently, and everyone has their favorite(mine is Patrick Gleason's Iron Man-esq version, but I'm crazy about this one too). Perhaps they could have included alternate heads, but I suppose the sculptor was going for that very specific look from issue #2 or #3.
I doubt it's the last we'll see of a DCC Red Hood. Like previously stated, there's the Gamestop exclusive Arkham Knight one... although that version seems to have stolen Mr. Terrific's jacket, plus the helmet is a solid piece with no eyes. With Jason being so involved in the Batman comics (especially now, in Eternal) I fully expect him to end up as a designer series release at some point, probably with an unmasked head as well. That's just my guess, though.
Can someone tell me what figure comes with those flames, I must have them!

Nice figures and awesome pics! Thanks!
And, we are continuing the updates this weekend. First up, Red Robin!

DC Collectibles Catch Up Gallery – Red Robin - The Toyark - News
These figures all look very good to me. I particularly like the fact that the legs don't have that conspicuous horizontal gash halfway down the thighs. Not being able to rotate the legs at that point seems like a small price to pay, especially for the female figure. JMO...
And... Batgirl is up, another well done female IMO.
DC Collectibles Catch Up Gallery - New 52 Batgirl - The Toyark - News
If I had a place to display them, I'd totally get Huntress, Power Girl, Starfire, and Zatanna. I have Supergirl and Batgirl and I'm glad that my figures ended up with good paint on the eyes and lips.
Yeah! Crossed eyes drive me nuts. Full points to DCC for quality in that regard. I was blown away by the pinpoint accuracy of the eye pupils in the Batman figure from Arkham Origins Wave One.
Last one for the weekend... Supergirl!

DC Collectibles Catch Up Gallery - New 52 Supergirl - The Toyark - News
Supergirl turned out great, although I don't know why she included a shard of Kryptonite. I still display her with it in her hand just so I don't lose it.
DCC has been knocking it out of the park recently, Constantine's head sculpt aside. There have been a few odd choices regarding articulation here and there, but nothing that ruined a particular figure, in my opinion.
