Does any one know if Play arts has improved the quality? Loose joints? I have a halo figure and it can barely stand, and living in Texas sucks too because I keep my batman in the garage.

This stuff leaves me stone cold. Never cared much for the Anime style.

That JH Predator looks too... "manga/anime-ish", but the Samurai looks pretty cool.

Just not feeling that Iron Man. He's too bland and I hate the color scheme.

So this is what happens when you take Shin Megami Tensei creatures and mix them with DC ones.

BTW, what is up with the zombie Harley?

Some of the designs for the Variant Series figs have been hit or miss, but I'm REALLY digging that Spidey. I'd have to see how the finished product turns out, but if it looks even close to that, he's definitely on my list of pick ups...

The Arkham Series Batman and the Knight Batman are a buy for me. The Catwoman design is EXACTLY perfect for my taste. Please drop that cowboy hat Batman. It looks dumb in the comics and in the action figures.

Wait, you guys actually like these DC versions that have details on the details and stuff? Catwoman doesn't even look like a cat, a woman, or even a human.

This Iron Man is very cool looking, loving the scratches on the paint, like he's just out of battle. Great design!!

I don't mind the Tetsuya Nomura Batman (looks like some insane Batman Beyond design) but that Catwoman does nothing for me unfortunately. That could pass for anyone from Ghost in the Shell.

Iron Man is looking okay but also not a fan of all that black on it but yeah, that Spiderman concept looks awesome.

And to answer avcprime's question about QC, it depends on who you ask. Some people have better experiences (like me) than others. Most PAKs these days have ratchet elbows, wrists, hips/thigh, knees and ankle joints. That stops most of them from being loose, but that also sometimes hampers posing. Hope that helps.

I think this Iron Man toy clearly states why Tony should not be drunk when making an armor.

Like that Iron Man, LOVE the Spider-Man design.

I agree that the Nomura Batman looks like a Batman Beyond design variant. That's primarily the reason I want to pick it up.

Could have done a better job with Catwoman.

I hate comic books. I don't really care for super heroes, most of them are really corny & stupid. And I'm definitely not a DC fan, I'm Marvel all the way. Most of the DC characters are ultra gay/homosexual IMO. I pretty much only like the females from DC. DC makes some seriously hot babes!

This Variant series is the ONLY series that has ever been able to get me to buy a Wonder Woman & Supergirl figure. I don't think I've ever bought a Supergirl or Wonder Woman figure in my entire life. I usually roll my eyes & make fun of them. If you can take a person that hates comic books & dumbass super heroes & doesn't care about these characters at all & turn them into a fan then you must be doing something right. This Variant series has the best looking Batman, Batgirl, Hawkman, Cyborg, Flash, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn & Catwoman I've ever seen in my life. Normally I wouldn't blow money on DC crap but I'm collecting these. I've been waiting my whole life for awesome figures like this. Nobody has ever made female action figures as drop dead gorgeous as these are. I can't wait to see some Marvel females get this treatment. I would love to put a Psylocke next to Catwoman.

I love that Catwoman so much I'm probably going to buy 2 or 3 & do some repainting. Make variants of the Variants.
