6" Boushh Leia looks interesting, I'm not sure if I want the clone trooper captain because it's from the prequel trilogy but he could be neat too.

The 6" figures look very good, not too sure about the Emperor (Would have liked him to be a Deluxe figure and come with his signature throne), Leia Looks great but i'd rather have an Ep.IV Leia (white dress, bun-hairdo), also waiting for a New Hope Luke a C-3PO as well as a Old Ben Kenobi. Also I really hope they make a Rex figure to go with Cody.

Palpatine is the figure I'm actually most excited for out of the new 6 inch series figures. I don't army build with these or anything like that, so I'm really not into all the different variations of troopers and what not, but there is a lot of potential there with Palpatine. Hopefully they will give him a spare head, some clip on force lightning, and a lightsaber as well as his traditional cane, so we can have opt to have him as Darth Sidious as well!

I know that it's HIGHLY doubtful we will ever get her...but I'd really like to see an Ashoka figure in six inch scale (or even a re-issue of her Vintage figure), and a Riff Tamson for the smaller black series figures. Ashoka annoyed the heck out of me when I first started watching SW:TCW, but by the time the series ended, she was easily one of my favorite characters on the show. Riff Tamson was pretty awesome for the few episodes he was in, and I really loved his design. I was totally bummed he never got his own figure by the time Hasbro moved away from the Clone War series of figures.

I'm starting to dig the return to the 5 PoA model for the smaller figures. Hits me in my nostalgia parts. I desperately want a 6" Leia, but the options they've gone with just don't appeal to me yet, still stuck on having the gang from ANH. That Palpatine is looking sharp, hopefully some lightning hands like the Unleashed figure has come included. As mentioned above the throne would've been swell, but that's how Hasbro gets our money come SDCC, right?

The Command line, while not too appealing to me as an adult, would have been right up my alley as a child. I'm thinking of picking them up for the younglings in the family.

@Trivial Psychic: I know right? When the show started I was like F##K this kiddy character, and by the end they had successfully been developed into a likable character. Plus she participated in a scene that was a straight remake/reference to The Fugitive!

The Emperor's Throne! YEAH! Would love that, but it would require 90' hip and knee articulation...

Boba Fett was my only 'must have' from the Black Series. It looks great - highly recommended for fellow Fett fans - but I also bought the white 'prototype' version and found that one very disappointing. They just skipped painting the identical mold! As a result, many nice details from the original are omitted or lost, and the 'battle damage' dents just look like sloppy flaws in the mold. The result is plain and boring by comparison. Frankly, I find it a bit audacious that they charged exactly the same shelf price for less workmanship: plain, white plastic. Next month's re-release (of the white prototype) might be improved, but I'm not holding my breath. It actually annoyed me so much I gave mine away to charity.

I'm surprised to find myself choosing THE EMPEROR as my favourite in this display! Is it my imagination, or are his eyes glowing? Very good likeness. Hope it looks this good up close!

you forget about the popularity of rex though. i don't think it's super likely to happen, but i certainly wouldn't be surprised if it did. hell, sideshow is releasing a second captain rex in his phase 1.5 armor.. so, it's possible hasbro does the same. but speaking of the sideshow rex, boy, i can't wait for that thing.

anyways.. if not rex, i'd still like more trooper commanders. i always thought they looked the coolest.. much better than the stormtroopers. they could do gree, bly, and if they do rex they might as well do thire, ponds, fox, wolffe, etc lol. but seriously.. if they do rex, there are just sooo many repaints they could get out of the mold. it'd sort of be silly not to cash in on something like that. it could allow them the money they'd need to make other new molds. sort of like transformers masterpiece figures. they make molds that have repaint/remold potential to recoup costs and make it possible to create molds that don't have obvious repaint potential.

yeah.. um.. new characters with old articulation doesn't give me a nostalgic vibe AT ALL.. it doesn't make any sense.

i absolutely LOVED the clone wars figures. i loved the style.. some of them weren't very articulated, but it worked. the clone troopers were absolutely fantastic, articulation everywhere, great accessories, awesome paint schemes, i loved collecting all of the different commanders and their troops. i would really kill for phase 2 versions of all of them. the animated style is just so cool looking. i know some fans really don't like it, i can't imagine why though, i mean, there are sooo many iterations of classic characters out there. clone wars was new and refreshing.

I don't think Rex is as popular as you may be pitching. Popular among people who watched the show probably (not gonna lie I wasn't all that into Rex, cool armor, but he just felt like a re-skin of what had already been done). However not very popular, or even heard of, amongst a good crowd of the fans who only watched the movies and left it at that, for every one fan who has seen all movies, the holiday special (if you're a true fan you'll force yourself to watch this crap), seen/heard of the droids/Ewoks animated shit, watched the original Clone Wars, watched The Clone Wars (the second one), and maybe played some of the better games (or more) for every one of those fans, there's probably like eight or more who only watched the movies.
Hasbro could make a Rex in the 6" line (which I've reasoned/noted is more of an adult-collectors line than any of their other 6" lines) however I personally would like to see the known movie characters (the ones in the movies who have some level of fan-base) all have toys before we see any television/game/non-movie characters. It bothers me a lot that we got Darth Maul and RotS Anakin before Darth Vader and RotS Obi Wan before Ol' man Ben (not even revealed yet).
Done ranting there, not a fan of how much soft-good material is going into this line so far. Darth Vader has a tad too much (especially that they made the pieces around his gut-box soft-good), and it makes the Emperor look kinda weird, like a doll rather than an action figure.

Exactly. You nailed it. The 'rag doll' look has to go.

I'm on the same boat with you. I remember when I first saw Ahsoka in the Clone Wars movie...I just found myself gritting my teeth whenever she showed up. I caught myself rolling my eyes as the movie went on, thinking "of course...they have to please the kiddie audience..."

Then came the TV series, and all of that changed. It amazed me that over the course of the series, how much the character grew, and especially how much she matured. The episode where she visits Amadala's seperatist friend on Raxus and spends the day with her son was a particular favorite. I actually felt myself caring for what happened to the character, and it amazed me how far the character had come, both physically and mentally. It was like watching one of your own kids growing up.

I'm really hoping we find out at some point what happened to her in either Rebels, or in the new trilogy coming to theaters.

Hopefully she'll get a re-release at some point with her Jar Kai dual lightsaber style. I missed out on both the Clone Wars series of figs, and the vintage figs when they were released, and the prices on ebay are just ridiculous.

I doubt we'd see her in episode VII or the other new films, just because as I've noted before, not everyone saw the show so it would be lost to them and a bit niche. They could sneak a reference/background cameo, but this is also like almost 60 years after the Clone Wars so she'd be old (assuming no event states an official death before then).

Finally caught a bit of the new Rebels show. Wish the characters didn't look so cartoony. If they do more detailed and realistic versions of some of those characters for a future wave of the Black Series, I could get motivated to spend some money.

I was disappointed not to see variants of the basic Mandalorian armor design after the last season of Clone Wars. Maybe Sabine is the Lucasfilm way to test market interest going forward. If so, I hope whatever they release is at least on par with the 6" Black Series.

I like Sabine too. She needs a jet pack!

Hey Guys, as I am totally new in this forum, I'm sorry, if I am writing in a false thread. I have a questÃ*on and maybe some of you could help me. I did notice the toyark picture no. DSC08149 and the following images. Does anyone know where I can get these figures, especially Star Wars Command (army men style) figures of Darth Maul and actually all of them except the Rancor Pit Set which can easily be found anywhere at Amazon or elsewhere. I would really appreciate your replies or if an adminstrator could move my text to the right threat. I already contacted Hasbro, but they did not reply and I also tried to get the seller's list of the NYCC but I hadn't been successful.
    Thanks a lot in advance
    Kind regards
    Leonardo
